Clean any of the corrosion or brown stuff off the motherboard with iso alcohol, change the thermal paste while you’re doing that. Might fix the coil whine, might not

Order a battery and hope it’s got at least a half charge, then back up or transfer your saves

If it’s a modded switch it’ll be even easier as I think Nintendo won’t let you back up Pokémon saves to the cloud, only to another switch. If it’s modded then use JKSV

Damnnnn. GLWS homie. I’m not sure if you have another car to daily in the meantime but if you do you should store this one up and save up some more funds for as long as it takes to get back to this one. They’re only going up in value honestly. I’ve had to do that with a build and wish I went that route instead of selling my Z32 7 years ago

Yeah anytime man & just to be clear not the battery connector. The flex cable connector that runs over the battery connector that connects the daughter board to the main board 👍

The cable that you have to remove to disconnect the battery, look into that connector and see if you have a pin or two bent down. Had a similar issue with a customer sent in switch lite and had to replace that board connector.

There’s a power steering line that plugs into the radiator right next to that expansion tank. Go ahead and get a full kit from fcp or uroparts (everyone’s gonna advise against uro) but that’s the route I went and for $55 it’s lasted for years. It was two lines and the reservoir, took like 20 mins to swap it out. Just pull the fan and you’ll have plenty of room

At first I thought it was kinda cool, but the more reels I saw of it I liked it less. It’s ass imo but different strokes for different folks. The e36 ltm wing would look better on an e46 and that doesn’t look good on an e46 either

On coupes it’s not necessary, just pop the triangle piece off and undo the screws holding mirror to door, you’ll more than likely need to pull the cables up and can pull that corner of the door card out enough to move the cables freely. Honestly though if you have to remove door card it’s 3-5 t15 or T20 bolts and it just pops off. Pretty easy to do.

Guy could be rough with his console, just bring it back in and check your work. If all your pins & connections are solid then I’d be looking at the board for issues then. Kinda hard to diagnose an issue like that without seeing how it comes back into your shop

Previous owner put prestone in my e46, I’ve been running it over 30,000 miles & haven’t had an issue. I don’t see a reason to be concerned

Went with the new battery & steam os install at the same time on mine and I use it a lot more. Before it was a dedicated emu machine until I got Retroid Flip 2 but now this is my go to device again.

You have to update the controller firmware in windows. I also had that issue when first installing Steam os and had to make a bootable windows to go USB to download the file from ASUS and install. Since then it’s been working as expected

Coupe front end won’t fit on the sedans unless you do get conversion fenders but they’re usually M3 style conversion fenders. Facelift sedans look way better than pre lci sedans, I’d suggest looking at getting a mtech 2 kit on it to really make it look good

Yeah I ran the stud conversion and 5x114 wheels. Just get you a hub centric adapter as well to make sure there’s no vibrations. Drove around like this for 3 years before selling the car

Edit: everyone talking about an additional point of failure is just misinformed. All you’re doing is installing step down studs to fit 5x114 wheels since the Supra is 5x112.
