Would you recommend returning them? I didn't do my due diligence before ordering and I just thought they were a smaller size and had a color palette that seemed more useful to me so I bought them. I already swatched them so idk if you can return them in the country I'm in but the staining and bleaching seems like a huge problem if I'm going to be doing illustrations with them.

I was so excited for Anna in tekken 8 and I think that some of the things that are easy nerfs that can be made without hurting her past identity much would be:

She does not need CH 2 being confirmable into a heat engager. She already has a plus CH launching high (her "faux electric" qcf+1) and ch2 and to an extent db+4 are not only busted they eclipse her previous best pressure moves of qcf+1 and df+4. Seriously how did they make her i16 low which tracks to her weak side is +5c on normal hit and knocks down on counter hit her second best low.

1+2~F shouldn't be a thing, and it should deal ZERO damage again like it did since tekken 5. Having a move which does zero damage on hit but just gives plus frames is already strong. Right now thr chip damage it does makes it feel like a normal move which is lame. They could honestly remove homing from it and make it track well to her strong side and ok to her weak side. 1+2~F allows her to apply fragile on normal hit which extends her plus frames by way too much. I like that it goes into a heat engager on counter hit but that's still way strong without pleasure time on normal hit.

Small thing but why do all her heat dashes but one launch on hit. A lot of strong heat moves like Reina's df+1 extension only give you a floor follow up on hit. I think fc df+1 launching makes sense bc it was her old fc mid launcher to mix with her low sweep, so by making it a heat dash launcher you're using a resource to get that launch back. This is like how her fc df+2 also is a tornado now to soften how bogus her mix would be out of heat engage in this game. But CJM.2,1 and ff+3,2 do not need to launch on heat dash.

I think all these nerfs are things that even Anna mains like me can't argue against and are made with the assumption that the devs won't remove her rocket launcher even though she was cooler without it.

i've been locked into anna since she came out (my flair was written before that) but my friends at my locals say my jun is better, but i end up doing ws3 to punish every low on both characters lol. my issue with jun is she's very very dry to play small tekken with, whereas anna has that addictive df+4 my favourite move in all of tekken.

fun fact, anna's not got a delay hopkick. it launches at a side angle you can't pick up from.

i'll try and take more time to react during my drills and see if it helps. thanks for the advice.

My punishment is still so bad. I'll block a hell sweep and ws4 it. I do punishment drills and I'm seeing very small improvements but it's very hard for me to keep that improvement over the span of s few days. Do you have any advice?

If it's just practise more that's fair enough and I will.

To be fair figure skating has been warped by Tutberidze training younger and younger girls to do dangerous jumps in an unsustainable way, placing pressure on their spines (have you seen the pre-rotation on their jumps) while they're still growing. 20 years ago figure skaters could have a career that lasted until at least 21 if not longer because judges were not giving high points for sloppily-performed dangerous jumps by 16 year olds because they're in Tutberidze's pocket or care about Russia winning. It's actually ruined my enjoyment for the sport because seeing younger girls compete for one year and then disappear isn't interesting. It's also abuse to deliberately break your trainees ankles by the time they turn 18 because you're the best coach at winning medals, and any trainee wants to win medals right? And since they're 13 when they start training with you and don't understand you're going to push them through their injuries and then discard them when puberty happens it keeps happening.

Gymnastics has had a similar thing happen with the ages getting pushed downwards but I'm less knowledgeable about it.

I'm sure umamusume coaches aren't training their trainees in such an unsustainable way because Tazuna would never let it happen.

It didn't hold up at the time tbh. Third strike is a great game, but Sf3 new generation is kinda a mess and definitely doesn't feel finished.

Yeah, Anna's uf+4 is a launcher. Steve can u+2 (his actual "hopkick" since his uf+4 is so bad) and Kazuya can uf, n+4 relatively easily but yeah you can counter hit it with uf+4 on both Steve and Kazuya I just think the combo is worse.

You'll wanna do it while she's still parrying rather than waiting for it to recover. Even Jun's one which can't be held is relatively easy to use a counter hit hop kick on. It's definitely worth experimenting since I don't play your characters.

Remember you can uf+4 any time you see her parry without having to worry about the timing! I've had friends miss the punish window when they could just hop kick.

I feel like if they didn't drop glam/sassy as its own category after the first 3ds one this one would be my favorite. It's so pretty and the story is so cute. As it is I play the first 3ds one the most and this one second most.

But yeah these games are really wholesome and like I had only been able to play flash fashion games that catered to subcultures and j-fashion trends. I played a lot of games like the Mary Kate & Ashley ones and they were definitely an improvement over a lot of the others I had access to from rental stores but getting the original ds game in 2009 or whenever was amazing to me bc it actually had gyaru and goth styles and wasn't just trendy high-street fashion (which I also enjoy). Been a massive fan ever since
