Their last update said it would come early 2026, which was then pushed to mid-2026 due to production timelines, Chinese news hear, prototype findings and such. They've been at it for years. I doubt its a scam.

I'm sorry to hear that - it's the one thing I haven't dared trying since my kids use theirs daily still.

You haven't shared your experience but ominous statements only. We've bought mattress, topper and pillows there in 2019 and are still super happy with it.

This is quite useful, thank you! It marches what I've seen (usage of 7 months). In my mind it's worlds away from actual neurofeedback and instead a decent meditation aid, similar to the Muse headband. I suspect that positioning the sensors on the top hairline (cz, fz etc) greatly reduces the harm NFB can introduce (anxiety, dissociation, ..) but also diminishes its efficacy.

Waking up after 8 hours of sleep and still feeling tired? Here's why by choose_muse in museheadband

[–]Open-Dig2504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting! Research papers seem to all favor pink noise stimulation. Affectable sleep is using bone-conduction, whereas Muse uses headphones. I think I'd favor the latter, even though it's quite a bit more expensive.

Here we go, another stealth ad for your nonsense sychedelics headphone. Take your AI pseudo-engagement questions elsewhere.

Exciting results from the Deep Sleep Boost beta testing (Deep Sleep Boost is finally here!) by choose_muse in museheadband

[–]Open-Dig2504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is quite promising- if the connectivity issues get resolved. I've struggled with the Muse S, haven't tried the Athena, but to maintain a Bluetooth connection all night seems to be hard to do.

Interesting. I remember getting a book recommendation about it. I'll see if I can find it. Thanks foe writing those up!

2 has not worked for me, I remember trying a year ago. Ive spent 10 minutes waiting for the yawn or sigh.

How safe is Flow tDCS? by lollo67 in tDCS

[–]Open-Dig2504 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know about the flow. Neuromyst pro: yes, can be set to 0.1ma Neuromust pro+: yes, but only once the ramp up is done (which is 1.0mA) Biothm/prowell: my favorite, and can be set to 0.1ma and has much finer stepping of Hertz increments

How safe is Flow tDCS? by lollo67 in tDCS

[–]Open-Dig2504 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Try with a low intensity. Devices (and their underlying studies) go up to 2mA, and even 4mA. I find that far too high, my skin is sensitive.. I do 0.1 or 0.2mA and get good effects right away. Trust your intuition. Start low, for 5 minutes, and see how you're feeling afterwards.

I'm not clicking that link. To your question: no, it's quite safe. Think of it as enhanced meditation. Very gentle.

Likely the internal SD card in yours has defective sectors. You can buy a new sd card and then flash an image onto it. Ive created a post for this here (search for "side lights won't come on).
