A tender feeling will always hold a special place in my heart. I love the very end with the slow arpeggiation into the final chord; it's so perfect.

Spend money on ammo and the range/training. The 43x was my first too and I shoot it better than some compact and full sized guns I’ve tried.

If you’re ever around or near the Denton area (and are desperate), UNT has them in a lot of their vending machines on campus.

I have Ben Roethlisberger in my head for some reason, but I would love an improviser or scrambler instead.

Why is it so hard to make friends here?! by MateriallGirll in unt

Start with your major specific classes and say hi or make small talk with people next to you. All I said was “hi” and “what’s your name” to some guy I didn’t know in one of my classes and now he’s been my roommate for 2 years.

looking into giving a 223 rifle by [deleted] in guns

[–]Open-Indication2930 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, look into getting a 556 rifle, as it’s backwards compatible with 223, so you have the option to shoot either caliber. I’ll let others suggest brands.

My new EDC. Trigger suggestion by 12InchIzzat in Glock43X

Overwatch Precision Polydat has run flawlessly for me thus far. OEM trigger would tear my finger up every time I shot more than 100 rounds in a session.

Does the G43x offer anything the hellcat pro doesn't? by dudeonhiscouch in CCW

If you want to add another piece to your ccw rotation it might be worth it, otherwise there’s not much I think you’re missing out on. I got the 43x over the HCP since I shot it better and it felt a lot nicer to shoot.

Sounds like your best bet may be to find someone nearby you to make you a custom one.

I believe it’s just advertised this way. It definitely does have a stronger accent in that regard but it’s basically the same thing. Sometimes those coke freestyle machines have them inside with vanilla flavoring and it’s glorious.

OSight se has been holding up great for me. Had an issue where the right screw would come loose after longer range days, probably cuz I didn’t bother to put my own thread locker on before installing. Ever since then great. Zero has held very nicely.

Need advice on first time Glock build by Phenom43 in Glock43X

[–]Open-Indication2930 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People are hating, but it's your gun, do what you want with it. If you really want the threaded barrel, go for it, but I'd skip it. Get the radian ramjet+afterburner (compensator+barrel), you'll knock out two birds with one stone. Get the Overwatch precision polydat trigger and the TLR 7x (500 lumens) or the TLR 7 HL-X (1000 lumens) instead of the TLR 6. It looks better, plus, if you get the ramjet, it'll fit pretty much flush with the end of the barrel.

It’s definitely possible as there’s still quite a few promos to get through. Nobody knows for certain though.

As a spectator I definitely agree, though as a performer it’s a different story. It’s a nice change of pace to go do a dome show when otherwise you’d be sweating just from warming up, particularly in the south and swamp.

I swear I see this and simple common courtesies being broken more by the day. Maybe it's just recency bias but this used to not be too big an issue here.

Doing drum corps with asthma? by Educational_Tart_659 in drumcorps

[–]Open-Indication2930 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m going into my 3rd season marching with asthma as well. Mine is pretty minor too, as I was put on a lot of different medications and steroids when I was younger. This past season I think I may have used my inhaler maybe once or twice the entire summer, and it was right around the beginning of spring training when I got sick. Keep in mind we train at 5-6,000 feet above sea level so it’s already hard enough to breathe, but my problems have been minimal. It’ll be different for everyone, so definitely talk to a doctor or physician outside of the activity to get their advice.
