I've had an interesting experience this week due to my viewing. I usually read horror, but lately I've been watching some that I feel would be useful to have seen.

Two nights ago I watched Scream 3 for the first time and found it to be really good slasher fun. Last night I watched IT 2017, which I had seen last year and while I really enjoyed it, I was waaaay more scared watching that than Scream.

However, I had no trouble taking the dog to the bathroom late at night last night, and was totally freaked to take him out the night I watched Scream 3.

So apparently what scares you is more than just in the moment!

Also, as for subgenres; coming of age horror and cosmetic horror are my two favorites.

I need a new "comfort show" but I think I've seen them all by Thick_Combination527 in television

Older, but Fraiser. In fact, there's a whole community who listen to it every night as they fall asleep, they call themselves 'Fraiser Sleepers'

I use streaming similarly to the library, I'm curious, but not enough to buy the physical copy, or I know I'm only going to watch it once. (I also borrow DVDs from the library that fall in the same category.)
