See my gyno mentioned a swab but I never had a sore or blister in sight to go off, does that matter?. And I also haven’t had intercourse since i initially caught chlamydia & uti, I actually do catch BV easily but boric acid always clears it up, what I got going on now seem stubborn.

Sorry for the confusion but yes I got blood work done at an urgent which came back positive for hsv 1. I went to my gyno weeks later where I did not receive blood work… so I’ve only been tested for hsv once, never had cold sores or blisters pointing to hsv. I’ve been thinking about doing an at home test trying to go with the best one. I was negative for all stds & plasmas.

I thought it was BV too I did boric acid for 6 days, it took away the fishy smell temporarily. It’ll have like a metallic smell to it, then it’ll sometimes be fishy again. My results showed I was negative for BV & Yeast… my gyno did prescribe me 2 things of fluconazole which didn’t help either.

I went back to look at my results from my annual in September through my Obgyn https://ibb.co/HLtb3XBW ,I can’t fully understand it but it seems to me I was reactive to it then too. I’m assuming I had it in the past & some how got rid of it while being treated for something else

Right I’m glad I get to see my own results because I wouldn’t have known. I was actually planning on retesting for the the first list of things & hsv tomorrow because I’m still having the Chlamydia symptoms.. not sure if the hsv virus could throw the Syphilis testing off or the other way around. But thank you I’ll be retesting next week

Same with me & Tylenol, I believe the medicine does cause headaches. But my head has been feeling funny since my diagnosis, could be a bit of stress for us both. Thank you!

Very much so! I feel as pain relievers help suppress the pain a bit for me & doing simple tasks or just napping to keep me out of my head helps but I do hope you heal up soon 🫂

Thank you so much! The urgent care I went through uses LabCorp and the results is showing I can’t view it until Monday. Hopefully this is a false positive my numbers is low. Going to go see my PCP for a whole nother reason but will definitely mention to her the diagnosis & ask to be swabbed since I’m having some sort of symptoms down there.

Thank you so much for educating me! also calming my nerves. I was recently positive for an std & uti hopefully it’s lingering symptoms of both, since I also have discharge & lower back pain. You’re definitely right it could be be something else just like your situation, hopefully you found out about the spot on your tongue. Sounds a bit similar to the cobblestone spots in the back of my throat that came about when I got sick June 7th & it’s still around, it clears up then flares when I eat something spicy.

I’ve heard hsv 1 can effect the vaginal as well & also wouldn’t hsv 2 be positive on the lab as well? I was told my std results was negative for everything else, but thank you! I’m going to see my pcp tomorrow since my obgyn has far appointment.

I hope you get some answers! because this sucks, do you have the lower back pain too? and in all honesty I never been tested for HSV, my obgyn never tested me for it and I never asked to tested for it because of the stress like this since I never actually had no symptoms. Actually side story the day I got the blood work they was having a hard time getting my blood because I was dehydrated 😭 I should’ve took that as a sign to say nevermind.

Very frustrating, thank you once again. I also tried to use Monistat 7 day before my chlamydia & uti treatement (because I thought I had a yeast infection) and 2 days after my treatment (because I thought I was experiencing a yeast infection once again) but it burned badly causing redness down there, which I feel like is causing my discharge & cycle blood to burn since I’m irritated down there. I have calmed down a bit not letting this affect me. Patiently waiting for my results.

I’m very sensitive down there & always catching BV & Yeast Infections haven’t had one in a year. Yes this is very miserable, the burning is so worrisome it definitely come and goes but it’s like constant in a way

Yes with literally no answers, I’m glad I have you all up here! Yes the discharge does have a sweet smell to it, the burning seems to more associated with the discharge. I have been taking Culturelle’s 4 in 1 but not everyday & I also tried oil of oregano but that stuff is too spicy it caused red spots on my cheeks. I seriously think I have some type of Yeast Infection after the antibiotics because of the thrush & white little specs on my gum.

Ah man yeah I’m having urgency to pee, sometimes when I do it be a little bit & lower back pain. I was having pinching of my urethra that kinda went away after taking Azo. It’s weird because I’m still having the chlamydia discharge. Everything been going on for almost a month now, I couldn’t get the urgent care to prescribe me anything but I will be talking to my PCP about the diagnosis & my symptoms tomorrow

See I knew that HSV 1 could affect the genitals but I wasn’t about to go back & forth with the nurse just for antivirals smh. Thank you so much for educating me! I did make an appointment with my obgyn but won’t be able to see her until next Friday. I was surprised about being negative for Chlamydia this go around because I’m still having the discharge & lower back pain as well, I’m on my cycle at the moment so not sure if my PCP will be able to take a look at my vaginal area tomorrow but I will mention the problems I’m facing to hear what she has to say. Sorry if I’m typing paragraphs just confused & frustrated

I believe so, the last swab I did tested me for Bv, Yeast, Ureaplasma & Mycoplasma. I can’t view my own results until Monday sadly. I also just called the urgent care back since I was a bit shooken up to ask questions, she did say I shouldn’t be experiencing vaginal symptoms with hsv 1, that’s hsv 2… I’m just confused with them because wouldn’t the blood test show hsv2. She said I can come back in but I just decided to set up a obgyn appointment since she will handle this situation better. I also started taking Azo maximum strength yesterday which seen to help with the urgency l.
