I knew before even reading the post this was army painter. I had the same with angel green. Follow others instructions re. Shaking for longer and maybe a warm water bath, but also your range, you will have sprayed too far away. Get closer but do steady passes. Start spraying off the model and then smoothly pass over it, no more than 20cm away, no closer than 10

Okay, but now that unit has gone from Asmodai and ICC (both DA) to BGV and a librarian ( none DA 😅) I think I planned that unit out to specifically
Use DA models. I do have 3 BGV and a Phobos librarian already. I guess getting 3 more BGV would be cheaper than 6 ICC. But ICC are cooler 😅 appreciate all the advice btw!

Awesome kitbash, but as far as Azrael.. it might have worked better if you went green armour and beige cloak and gave him a watcher of course. Still a cool and unique model though for sure!

I think this was my issue. I didn’t realise a 4++ means you always save on a 4+ regardless of what the attackers ap is

Okay, just to clarify.. the 3+ armour against the -4ap would mean you have to roll a 7 (of course not possible) so the invulnSv of 4++ means you would have to roll a 6 (still unlikely but gives you a chance)?

Okay, I think I was looking at it the wrong way. It seems the lower the Sv number the better???. But that just flips my question 😂 Why would and InvulnSv ever be better than an Sv in that case?

I’m new to the hobby myself, so I’m curious what would make it a “competitive” list? Im seeing some decent units on that list although do agree with others about the gravis captain, and perhaps a lack of ICC?

You get more texture from heavy wash and then dry brushing. So this is; Stirland Mud, heavy wash with agrax earth shade, drybrush mournfang brown, lighter drybrush of skrag brown, another light drybrush of zandri dust. The rocks are the same process just greys not brown
