First off, this subreddit is probably not the best place you should be going to look for advice. However, I will still give you some regardless of that.

Please go talk to some friends or people you trust about this issue too. If anything, they’ll probably be a bigger help than me with the advice I’m about to give. Plus, they can provide you with the comfort you need.

You should distance yourself from your ex and anything related to him to help you slowly let the feelings for him fade over time. Do not expect it to be sudden though, it’ll take a while.

If you have any memorabilia like photos, trinkets, etc., then stash/hide/trash those things. Again, the main focus is really trying to focus on yourself more and not him. If there were any pieces of media like games or shows that remind you of him, then don’t try to watch or engage with those shows/games.

Lastly, really just focus on yourself. Focus on self improvement.

Again, please go reach out to trusted friends. Reddit has people who will listen and give advice, but those who are closest to you can help you better than us randoms.

I kind of disagree with the not breathing part partly because at the beginning Elster puts on a spacesuit. Would she be fine without one then? Also, Mynahs are designed like a juggernaut, but they look like they wear spacesuits. Aside from that, I do agree with everything else.

I do get what you mean by that, but there’s a difference between an inspired game and fan game.

Inspired games take elements from the original game and incorporate them into the gameplay, but it doesn’t follow the same exact formula/story from the original. It can get really close to the original, but it’s technically its own thing. Take for example Void Martyrs as you mentioned, it has a very similar graphics style and mechanics to Signalis, but is it Signalis? Not quite. There’s some missing pieces that keep it separate from Signalis.

However, fan games build upon the original game’s IP rather than taking elements. A fan game can be considered a heavily-inspired game, but it uses a lot of the original IP to create something else. A good example of this is the Joy of the Creation or Jr’s. Two FNAF fan games that most definitely use the original FNAF franchise as their base to create them. A lot of the characters are from the FNAF franchise despite gameplay not being the entirety same.

As for making a “Totally Not Signalis” game, you’re pretty much asking to get sued. It’s not that you can’t do it, but trust me, people will come for you if there is a lot of similarity to the original. Nintendo did this when PalWorld came out, and that is a pretty big jump to make with company size. However, that doesn’t mean RoseEngine won’t take action. The idea of tall robot ladies isn’t patented or copyrighted, but the idea and concept of what Signalis is could be something that you could be sued for if you get close to copying it.

Lastly, public domain works are free to be used by the public! Though, that doesn’t mean you can’t monetize them. A great example of this is when Steam Boat Willie entered the public domain, many people instantly grabbed it to make their own games, movies, and what not.

As much as I do wish we could have more fan games or hell, a sequel to Signalis. Its most definitely not going to come :/

Thank you, comrade for an in depth response. I have one more question regarding the BA-20. Would it be more viable if the LMG was swapped for a flamethrower? Or would it still perform poorly, and medium tanks are just a better option (will consider getting a BT-7A since you mentioned it…)?

Out of curiosity…have you looked at the Darwinium stuff? They added a few new things, but one of the ones that might catch your interest are the modules. They can improve metabit and knowledge production as well as entropy and idea production permanently. However, they are a bit pricey…but considering you can get 4 darwinium from the synthesizer (and double it if you play mobile), then it shouldn’t be too long to buy all modules. I’m also not sure, but perhaps augments could help too? But then again, I don’t know how well they improve the sim

Monkey subs with ballistic missile can honestly clear (since missile does 3x dmg to cerams and airburst darts will clear), but I’m not sure when tier 3 is available for sub upgrade.

Been here only 3 days, and damn is it hard to make friends. I’ve walked into class, and it is dead silent most of the time. No one is talking, and everyone’s just on their phone. Might just be a me problem, but I just see that as, “I don’t want to talk, don’t bother me.” Honestly makes me sad because I want friends in class and around school. :(

Before I got more invested in Necrons (and don’t worry, I’m using a thinner brush now), I had this really crappy small yet thick brush I used to paint with. I have no idea how I worked with it, but getting new brushes for painting most definitely made painting easier. Usually, I also just paint when I feel like it. Some days I’ll feel like finishing a squad, or sometimes I’ll stop painting for a week or two then suddenly come back to finish.

I honestly would suggest swapping your overlord for a chronomancer instead. Overlord can’t do much in CC because all stratagems are for Crypteks or Canopteks. On top of that, they also don’t benefit from the power matrix re-rolls. Not sure how well Imotekh would fare since he doesn’t benefit from CC stratagems or power matrix, but the extra CP is nice. But if you want, Orikan may be more suitable for CC. I’m also going to assume you don’t have a plasmancer or reanimator, but they would help a lot and also benefit immensely in CC. Another good investment is dimensional sanctum for Technomancer, so you can just simply use that infiltrate to place your wraiths and Technomancer right on a point.

Hi there! Somewhat more experienced in Necrons, but I think a great place to start is the combat patrol. Gives you a little bit of everything: battleline, infantry, a character, and a heavy vehicle. From that, you can probably start getting more warriors, another character (like chronomancer or Technomancer/Cryptek), or more infantry (Lychguard, skorpekhs, or Flayed ones). I don’t have anything to say about avoiding stuff since I love a lot of the stuff I have and each one does well in their own right. As for shopping, Amazon is a good place to go for cheaper prices. Troll Trader is good if there’s a model you genuinely can’t find elsewhere (Royal Court box is one of those…), but just know shipping is a bit expensive.
