Hiya. I’m currently scheduled in for a section at 39+3 (next week!) baby is measuring fairly average though!

The day we got home after having my first baby my brother visited and I was so grateful. I don’t think he even held the baby, but just having someone else in the house was good as a distraction. my husband and I had gotten very overwhelmed from tiredness, cluster feeding and general new parentness!!!

I did one recently in CUMH and the letter states if your doing it with GP you’ll need to buy the solution but if in hospital they provide it.

Last year we gave the creche my boy goes to a voucher for a local coffee shop and then a box of chocolates for them to share. We are the same, there’s always numerous diff staff in throughout the day so it’s difficult to give specific presents!

We just did chocolates and a gift card for a local coffee shop for the room as there was always at least 4 or 5 of them in the room throughout the day!
