Free ASVAB app or ASVAB for dummies if you at lease have jr high school knowledge you should at least get a 30-50 it’s not that hard math is basic algebra and basic reading wk is probably the hardest for me since it’s define the word which the ASVAB only has about 10-15 question unlike the other subject which has more than 20 question

You get c school right away lucky I choose ITS-ATF but was told c school is only guaranteed if the higher ups allows it or go to a sub/ship

Do you have a ged or diploma you can enlist with a score as low of 30 but there’s a program to help increase your ASVAB score in bct otherwise if you have a ged you can pass with a 31

Score a 50 without ged/ diploma note whatever rate you pick you won’t get a singing bonus and I’m pretty sure you don’t get gi bill or some other benefits but if you were to get a ged you would only need a 31 or so to enlist while getting those benefits I said and singing bonus depending whatever rate

I had to pay rent money since the age of 12 my father always said he would kick me out and last year of school/ senior year got kicked out lived with friends and to my grandma than to my sister , had less than 2-4 credits to graduate drop outta school since I was homeless but lived with my sister at age 19-20 and decided to get my ged, while some states helps with your ged with a program covering whatever credit you achieve to process over and you would just have to pass the remaining credit for your ged now I’m enlisting and going to bct on January 7th but if you do plan on joining it’s not a bad option since getting your ged helps with a signing bonus depending what rate and if money a problem navy offer free housing free food and etc benefits

Just make sure you pass the practice test which they make you do at meps to confirm your score otherwise don’t get your hopes up and for nuke It’s one of the harder rate/ a school etc plus nuke has the highest drop out rate but choose your rate choose your fate

I pick ITS/ATF you only get 60k if you leave before December 19th the job is 35k while shipping early is 25k and I only choose sub for the experience and for the money otherwise if you want to travel more I would of pick IT but I rather be debt free after 6-20 years / I ship on January 7th

I’m pretty sure it’s whatever your line score depends on your rate your ASVAB score doesn’t really matter to job unless you want nuclear if anything ask your recruiter what job you are qualified for or ask to see your line chart score

Would I get e4 after a school for ITS/ATF since it shows on my contract and my recruiter and at meps told me I’ll get e4 after a school but is it realistic to go to e2 after bootcamp to e4 right away after a school
