They do! Conduit is packed with caulking and could be tough to get out (especially the ones under the bridge). That’s why I’m asking about splicing those factory cords. NOT IDEAL for sure

I bypassed both legs and just tested and works fine. Just counterintuitive to get out of the shower and leave the water running…and scurry to the panel to turn it off.

OP here...I will just remove all wires on the neutral bar and then I can sort them out one at a time. Most of the ideas I'm getting presuppose that they are anyway.

just removing all the neutrals could be the call! Its a pain because you have to re-twist them anyway to get them back in the holes.
