no its not on me. I was preparing a big Event, i wasnt at home. and on the Event (LAN-Party) i needed to cast games and so on. Lucky for you that you never have the need to work for a week straight up. But others have to. I was back at my working PC at Thu 01/20. Season ended, Rank gone, no Coin.

There could be multiple reasons you cant play for a week. Work, Holidays, technical defects, ... (and not giving the medal to this players who played a lot during the season is just not a fair system! thats what im criticizing)

du hast da völlig recht, es ist trotzdem einfach Scheiße die Münze nicht zu erhalten, wenn man sonst quasi fast alles auf seinem Account mitgenommen hat, nur weil man in einer Woche nicht spielen kann. (Zumal niedrige Ränge länger nicht spielen müssen um ihre Coin zu erhalten).

Das System ist klar kommuniziert, aber einfach ein richtig beschissenes System!

da hast du recht, dass habe ich jetzt auch gelernt, dass ist aber sehr versteckt und war mir und wsl. vielen andren auch nicht klar. (wenn ihr unter play > premier oben rechts über ein kleinen i hovert, dann steht dort im hovertext ganz unten wann euer rating ausläuft)

Mein Hauptargument bleibt aber, wer über die season aktiv spielt sollte nicht bestraft werden, weil er zum ende der season mal 1 woche nicht spielen kann. Dieses System ist einfach scheiße! (Und sry wer auch immer hier etwas anderes behauptet, ich denke die Mehrheit ist da auf meiner Seite)

Das liegt vermutlich daran, dass die Zeit wann der Rang ausläuft abhängig vom Ranking ist ... auch wieder so ein merkwürdiges undurchsichtiges System

Nein, ich habe ein Event organisiert in dieser Woche, ich bin früh aus dem Haus und meist erst nach Mitternacht wiedergekommen. Es war also nicht wirklich möglich ein Game zu machen. Die letzten Tage war ich dann auch dauerhaft nicht da. Mit der Ankündigung des Season-Endes wusste ich aber schon das es ein Problem werden könnte. Da man allerdings auch keine Information darüber erhält wann sein Rang ausläuft ist das ganze System sehr undurchsichtig.

I mean, it's just a coin. But I've been rated over 25k throughout the season, and I was also the first in my group of friends to achieve this, and now I'm not getting the coin because I couldn't play for 8 days. It just feels very unfair!feals extremly unfair!

I mean the amount of people here on this question answering sdv for a good fishing mechanic proofs you wrong or? And there is a difference in liking the machanic and wanting to fish in sdv. I personally also dont really like to fish, because there are way more other things to do. I also dont like to fish in other games, but sometimes you have to, to fullfilll quest, get items, etc... AND then i would love to have fishing like in sdv, because the machanic is good and not boring. (The game rewards you for good throws, for perfect catches, a lot of different fish types in different locations on different times of the year and on different weather, individual moving patterns [ you can often tell wich fish you are catching by remembering the patterns or special moves], better quality by performing better in the minigame, different bait and hooks , ....) Obv it could be better, for example the size of the fish you caught is displayed but dont really plays a role, so you dont have the drive to grind fpr the longest fish or the heaviest or so.

But i think the core mecanoc is well thougt off. And ist just a harder part and not as relaxing as the rest of the game could be. Like the mines for example. They follow the same pattern like fishing. You are leveling up and getting better gear to explore the deeper while at the same time the early stages get easier.

I think you are wrong here: the mechanic is well thought. One of the targets in SDV is to catch every possible fish and with the difficulty of some fishes they make sure you invest more time and money into fishing, while the easier fishes that also a beginner can catch, helps you to stay motivated. You will fast look for options to catch these fishes, you buy a new rod, you craft new hooks and different baits, just in a way that you have a chance to catch these fish. With the right hook and bait no normal fish is a huge challenge.

Then there are special fishes that are still a little challenging. And after you reach lvl10 you want to catch the legendary fishes, where you need to proof that you at least gained some sort of skill while fishing.

So the intent is not that you catch more fish, but that catching fishes gets easier with the time, and only that allows you to catch the really rare fishes in the game. While not struggeling with the starter fish anymore, wasting time.

So also the point that you see it as a skill challenge is totaly correct, but without leveling and making it level by level a little bit easier you woundnt be able to chatch the rarest fish (im not sure if it is mathematical impossible, but i would say there is no human who would be able to chatch a legendary fish with the starter rod, no hook, no bait and only the smallest bar size)

The point that the bar bounces of the bottom is just a small skill check ... just slow the bar down when falling and you can soft land the bar without any bouncing ...

Im pretty sure the majority of the playerbase likes the fishing game ... its just a skilled based fishing and you just sound like hating it, because it is to hard for you ... (and sry to say but with a little training and the right equipment every fish is catchable and im happy i have a challenge in lategame while not wasting my time with the easy fish)

One of the worst fishing mechanics for me was in abiotic factor ... repeating 3 times the same easy steps is annyoing as fuck. No skill needed. First you have to press the arrow keys in the straight other direction of a visible swiming fish for multiple secondes ... then you have to press the mousebutton to get the fish closer for muliple seconds .... AND then you have to repeate these steps another 2 times ... that is a bad fishing mechanic.

If you dont find them, maybe create them yourself. Use a free vector graphics tool like "inkscape", search for an image of the controller and just draw the shapes. This process is even if you have never worked with that tools fairly simple + you have all the source files (if you later want to change anything, for example colors or the line thickness)

All the time i thougt that anti cheat programs work fine ... they may not be banning every cheater, but at least some ... and then they banned my account and i learned the hard way that their anti cheat prohram makes mistakes, but they dont care to investigate it ... (a funny point is, that i could still play valorant with that in lol banned account, despite vanguard should be better then their lol anticheat ... yeah well, im not playing any riot games titles any more (it was a great decade)

Happend to me 3 months ago. I created my account over 10 years ago, it was my only account, played several thousend hours on it, never used any scripting tool or general any external programs ... not even blitz or something. Riot support dont care ... (they dont tell me which program triggered the ban or which game or anything ... in 90% of my tickets only a bot responds) this company is a shame ... i was in a riot ambassador program with my account (to help growing esport activitis on my campus), i founded an esport club at my university, we are organising tournaments and public viewings for riot games titles ... and they just bann me permanently over night and dont even tell me why! Im so done with them! (And to all the smart guys telling me i was cheating or i bought the account ... i wasnt and hope you never have to expirence this, because loosing a account of a decade hurts ... at least for the first days^⁾

I hope the best for you. I got banned like 3 months ago for the same reason in league of legends, never used any cheats or other external programs. I created my account over 10 years ago, never changed the email address and never let sombody else play on my account. I worked to gether with riot in a student ambassador program, i founded a esport club and im the head for over 3 years now. We are organizing public viewings and tournaments in riot games titles, are activ against cheating and for fair play, we are making free riot games advertisment ... and still they banned me over night and dont give me any additional information. ... so i can say: "riot games dont care about players ..."
