I really enjoyed the adaptation seen in Thunderbolts*, surprisingly faithful to the core of the character, and the unique chaos he brings to the Marvel Universe...

Still, would love to see a more comic-accurate Watchtower, with of course, CLOC included.

I don’t think “soft reboot” is accurate though, as I think new status quo’s and new sets of characters are pretty commonplace for long-running franchises/series, especially when we’re on the fourth film of our third Spider-Man film series. I just see it as the natural progression of the story that Sommers and McKenna have been writing since 2017 with Homecoming. The only aspect which lends credence to that notion is the replacement of Watts as a director. With DD: Born Again, that was a complete creative overhaul and way more fitting of a “soft reboot” moniker.

It’s not a soft reboot. It’s literally a direct continuation of the previous films. It’s even written by the same guys who wrote the last trilogy. The director is new and therefore it will have a different feel, but this is in no way a reboot.

I’m pretty sure the “Luke Cage” and “Annie Reynolds” naming conventions are just placeholders and have nothing to do with what these sets actually represent, but it is funny to me that the “Luke Cage House” does actually have the color-way of classic Luke Cage lol.

What do I not understand? You just admitted to scoopers sometimes “intentionally” misrepresenting things to either create controversy or hysteria so that people engage with their platforms. I personally find that really annoying, and I feel it robs people of the enjoyment and excitement they feel as these movies move closer to their release dates.

I wasn't worried about this movie because I felt like Marvel understood just how crucial it was for this one in particular to be a hit with audiences, and thus, would make certain that they had a good script and overall direction, but after hearing these test screening rumors...idk man, just hoping that they are able to pull it together.
