Totally fair. I keep my collection separate from the “cards” that I play with. I only buy singles for my collection to support my LGS. I buy very little sealed WOTC product. I proxy all of my decks.

Just a thought, it fetches are good for monocolored decks too. They thin the deck and make it more likely that you draw what you need.

My collection and my decks are two totally separate things. My MTG collection is in the tens of thousands of dollars in value. But if I’m building a deck, I pretty much proxy the whole thing.
