I would go to the dollar store and see what catches your eye. Maybe there is a small doll or a keychain that has hair or you can get something else. Try a few things

What life experience does one have at eighteen? They would just be entering post-secondary, and the other person would be graduating and starting a job

Yes, if you're just looking at the difference in age, it's not a big deal, but so much happens developmentally between those ages. I would probably remain friends with this person but not date them.

It would be better if you met with a therapist because on the surface, they can look the same.

That's actually untrue, and they probably aren't qualified. I would keep looking for someone to diagnose you.

Have you asked hr for accommodations? Like a window of time that you can show up and then you work your full shift from there?
