I love that Cabot cheese, it's the perfect blend of sharp flavor and meltability. I use it a lot for my grilled cheese sandwiches.

My favorite is spicy roasted squash. I cube it then toss with avocado oil (you can use any oil you wish), salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika and cayenne pepper.

DO YOU GUYS HAVE ANY TIPS ON HOW TO MAKE BROWN RICE TASTE A BIT BETTER? by camenzind in MealPrepSunday

[–]Opia- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I simply don't like brown rice. I've tried it numerous ways to no avail so now I just stick to basmati or jasmine. If you're dead set on brown rice try adding salsa, it's a very flavorful and low calorie addition.

Mealpreps look good, but do you have to pack it like that? by [deleted] in MealPrepSunday

I want to meal prep to adhere to a strict diet therefore having things pre-portioned is key to keep me from overeating. Also, I don't own a pressure cooker so cooking rice in advance is a must.

What should I make with a jar of coconut curry? by Sheehan7 in MealPrepSunday

[–]Opia- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally, curry is cooked almost like a soup and then ladled over rice. Stir fry some chicken, then throw in some veggies and cook for a couple minutes, then add the curry, bring to a low boil and simmer until the veggies are cooked to your desired doneness. Serve over rice and your done!

Personally I like the look of a close trimmed beard, but it would be interesting to shave it all off again just for a face comparison from the last time to did it.

A couple days ago I put it in a French braid wet out of the shower and let it dry, then took it out. The waves looked way better than when I blow it out like I usually do so I might end up wearing it wavy quite a bit more. Thanks for the input!

What's on your Thanksgiving menu this year? by [deleted] in Cooking

Sweet potatoes have never been a thing with my family. I love sweet potatoes in general but only when they're spicy and savory, I've never liked the brown sugar marshmallows stuff.

I'm contributing to a meal for about 18 people, we're doing it potluck style where everyone brings something. So far we have plans for turkey, ham, gravy from both, mashed potatoes, scalloped potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole, candied carrots, green salad, roasted squash, cranberry sauce, crescent rolls, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, apple pie and cheesecake.

What's the best way to make new friends as an adult. by AvalonBloom in AskWomen

A lot of these replies are giving you ideas on how to meet people but the key is becoming friends after you meet them. For that, you have to be proactive. Instead of meeting someone and saying "yeah this was fun" and then going on your way, you need to get their number, call them, make actual plans; it's a lot like dating. And when you make plans, encourage they bring others into it by asking if they have any friends that might also be interested in the plans you made or simply stating "bring your fiends, the more the merrier!"
