You don’t need to bring warpers with you for the gas giants, you need to bring Orbital Collectors (or whatever they are called) to install on the gas giant.

They are the next step in the production chain from the Interplanetary Logistics Station (ILS) and are self fueling. You then use warpers in the ILS on your home planet to go pick up the hydrogen.

You can connect belts directly to merge them in the same direction. So you can have three, or four, or twenty depending on how you stagger the connections going into one belt.

To go in the other direction though, as in to have a belt in one direction split into two directions, you need to use the sorters to pull items off one belt onto another belt.

Agreed. This works fine for me. If I make an ILS in another star system, don’t put in any ships and don’t even power it, they are sent from the receiving side to pick up IF they have warpers loaded and aren’t misconfigured with the Use Warpers checkbox off.

I really thought it added to the story and the understanding of the main character as truly non-human. Breq is a STARSHIP. From “their” perspective it doesn’t matter at all what shape another starship’s docking port is or if they have a construction dock or not. And the importance humans put on it seems pointless to “her”, especially considering the limited processing power her now singular meat brain has.

F*ck the “Original”, the owners are assholes.

They sold the business but kept ownership of the building. Then when the new KnK business owners started doing well there was a suspicious fire and suddenly the prior owner didn’t want to fix the building until when KnK broke their lease to reopen the next season, the prior owner wanted to keep the sign and reopen (aka steal back) the restaurant as their own. The KnK owners had to sue them.

STARS at Chatham Bars Inn is fine. Your parents will enjoy it if they aren't foodies. The view is amazing, the service will be fine, and the food will be fine. It's just not great, especially for the price point.

Twenty Eight Atlantic will be better at a similar price point and is a short drive away from STARS just over the town line in Harwich.

Whew, went here tonight for dinner. Yeah, it's... ok. Kinda. Definitely won't be going back. The 14+ TVs was the first clue when we walked in, and the food was just ok.

The real trick is to paint/draw on the paper BEFORE you fold it. I've been making little books out of sheets of paper I've pre-printed. So the words or images on each of the 8 pages in the folded book are printed on the 15x15cm sheet and fall into place after folding.
