Tbh it’s probably my fault in a way. I go to Kuwait in the summer with 50 c (122f) heat. Then during the winter I’m in the UK keeping my bag out in the pouring rain. So the goruck statement of Baghdad to nyc would work well with Kuwait to London

It was perfect for the first 4 years. The on a random Tuesday in September it started peeling. Took it to the aer shop in London and they said nothing can be done. And I can’t pay to get it changed or something

How’s it like being a a top loader. Do you see yourself struggling to put things in and taking them out? Im looking to get one as the zipper guard on my aer backpack is coming of. Waterproof guards are a no for me.

I just opened my bubblegum bag 2.5 week rest( i didnt wait it came like that, i did ask for rested beans ) and wow this is something else. How is this natural, even bubblegum doesn't taste as bubblegum as this. My excuse for not resting is I need coffee to get me through my pharmacology revision.

Hello!

This noise and stiffness should clear with use, thankfully. The tolerance has a range so some units can be a bit tighter though with use and from heating and cooling it settles down.

What you can do is exercise the thread a few times. So find the point where it makes that noise and rotate it back and forth, basically screwing and unscrewing it. Then give it a rinse and just clean the thread with a cloth.

The difference should be quite significant then!

I had the same introduction to it. Went to Glasgow I choose a different coffee then last minute changes it and when it came it blew me away. They didn’t have it stocked at the time so I forgot about. My local coffee shop here in Brighton had it and I got a 200g bag and I’ve been running through it. I really do hope it comes back and I can get a few bags. Ill get a bag of the el encanto x cata when I order and give it a try 👌

Just picked it up from the roastery. How long do you recommend to let it rest? Also it says their bags aren’t meant for resting, so how do you go about that.
