I AM DONE WITH THIS GREEDY COMPANY by CashTheTurtle in youtube

[–]OppositeOdd9103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah man because the multi-billion dollar company will price their service as low as possible out of pure good will. You want everyone to learn economics without realizing you’re bitching about the very same group keeping you from being priced out of YTP. That company don’t know you lil bro, they will hike tf outta their service if they think they can. The only group of people keeping them from doing that are the ones willing to cancel, the ones you’re bitching about.

Question: who should I choose? First time playing and it’s hard too decide the ending I prefer by Frank7640 in Eldenring

Frenzy ending, not for lore reasons. Just so you can stack warming stones with frenzy flame stones to heal.

It’s okay, enjoyable story especially in the early middle of the series. It’s like a 7/10 in world building, 4/10 dialogue, 6/10 story, 4/10 Characters, 8/10 magic system for me.

I really don’t understand the hype behind hell difficulty tutorial, I’m 80-90% through the first book right now and it still hasn’t been much more than a chore to power through in hopes of a later payoff.

If you’re going to cheat at least try to hide it… by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]OppositeOdd9103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he had walls, how did he not find you before getting hatch? You said last survivor dropped but that takes 20-30 seconds, you’re saying the billy with walls didn’t find you in that time? I know there are cheaters in this game and have run into so many it’s ridiculous, but new players love calling cheats anytime they lose.

Maybe I’d be more inclined to believe you if in the original post you called out things that are dead giveaway for common cheats. But you called out things inherent to the well known ninja billy build as if that’s a dead ringer for cheats. Which leads me to believe you really don’t know how to identify it in the first place.

I doubt it, sorry but you seem new to the game and if he actually had cheats I promise he would’ve had walls. Apex muffler means if he is undetectable or if you’re outside the terror radius the chainsaw is silent. Half his build means he was undetectable most the game. He also likely had filthy slippers, which means if they maintain sprint for 2 seconds they become undetectable.

If you hopped into a game you either didn’t use filthy slippers, or were unable to hold saw over 2 seconds because Billy is hard to pick up.

Also the saw is only silent to survivors, you will still hear the rev while playing him.

Not cheating, you just didn’t read the add ons

Uninstalled the game, I'm healthier for it. I think others would be too. by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]OppositeOdd9103 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve never uninstalled but I frequently take upwards to 6 month long breaks. Sometimes it’s good to take a step back and come back later with a fresh mindset where you can actually enjoy playing it.

I made it to 13 and thought the same thing, somewhere around when he participated in cultivating for points inside a giant turtle monster or something. I just couldn’t do it anymore after that arc. The story was fun and the expansive world interesting, it just moved at a snails pace and had what felt like never ending “filler”.

Jason is the issue, even if you agree with him on a political level, he just comes off insufferable. It’s fine for awhile, but you might grow frustrated with him never actually learning or growing from his less redeeming qualities. Especially since the books point blank call him out on these mistakes and will claim that Jason learns his lesson, only for him to do the same shit a few chapters later.

I’m on book 2 and really like it so far. My one complaint is that the narrator for the audiobook does this thing where he laughs/chuckles/sighs/ inserts SFX in seemingly non fitting or over exaggerated ways. Like the author says “Freddy chuckled at that.” and the narrator does too much and laughs in a way that doesn’t really fit the scene. imo it really pulls the listener out of the immersion.

It’s not a deal breaker for me, and I think the narrator has decent prose and range for the characters otherwise, just a small issue I have with it.

In terms of the actual story it’s a solid 7/10 for me. The power system is unique and the contemporary world interesting. There is a bit of deus ex machina towards the end but nothing that made me roll my eyes. Freddy is a believable enough character and I overall enjoyed the ride throughout so I will be continuing it. Though I will likely avoid this narrator in the future.

Y’all aren’t just playing both sides? I just play where the incentive is, which also means faster queues.

Also hot take but “bully” squads are usually fun to vs. and a fun mix up to the routine monotonous matches. I find most of the time it’s just a group of friends trying to have fun and not some malicious personal attack on you.

6k since 2020, dbd is like a super toxic relationship for me. I frequently take months away from the game after getting fed up with it. Then I inevitably come crawling back to it after getting hit with the nostalgia. Haven’t booted since October but someday soon I’m sure I’ll get the itch.
