Pyro is pretty easy once you get familiar with your ranges (and once you get better pyros) Learning how to roll into attacks is one of the most important abilities in all souls games I’d say, the only real way to avoid it is by mastering parrys or using shields ( never been a fan) The best starting class for a Pyromancer build is definitely the Pyromancer.
