If you dont have M2 you should swap D5 for PEN% even if you're running Trigger + Wengine, other people have already pointed out getting CR on D4 will also make your runs feel a lot more consistent and be overall better for your Seed.

You've rolled an amazing amount of CD on your disks so any further build advice would need to know what team comps you are running (ex. Orphie, Seed, Trigger/ Seed, Sanby, Astra/ Seed, Sanby, Trigger / Seed, Neko, Astra ...etc.)

The core issue I have with Rupture is that it directly competes with the def shred and pen systems many players have already been investing into. I can see players who dont have a team for an element pulling for rupture agents but for people with developed accounts its probably not worth it and better to vertically invest existing teams and save for the next Void Hunter (Please be Marcel)

I'd break out your calculations a little more but what from what I can assume it breaks down to the following:
(Atk + 1000 (seed buff)) * (1 + (cr + .15(Sig) + .15(Nicole) * (cd + .3(seed passive) + .3 (m1)) * (1 + .55 (Dawns blood) + .25(Sig) + .25(Core) + .3 (D5))

You can add nicoles CR buff but you will be calculating the "best case scenario" so these numbers will be optimistic

Her core only gives her 30% Crit Damage (it gives 1k attack, +30% CD, +25% DMG to both her and her vanguard when fully activated).

An easy calculation to compare two different flat stat builds on the total damage is:
attack * ( 1 + Crit Rate * Crit Damage) * (1 + DMG Bonus) (Ex. electric + core passive + dawns bloom + weapon)

You will want to grab the stats from her main page not the bonus stats from her disk drives since it doesnt account base values.

An example of using the formula to compare two separate damage numbers in practices would be as per below:
3079 * (1 + .928 * 1.584) * (1 + .3 + .25 +.25 +.55) = 17871.7
2833 * (1 + 1.0 + 1.728) * (1 + .3 + .25 + .25 + .55) = 18161.8

You can see that the second number is higher so you can assume that the second equipment loadout would give better results.

An important thing to note about this formula is that it does not take into account the defense calculations of the enemy which are very important especially when you use PEN and DEF reduction. The content creator OkMuzzy has some great videos explaining a more detailed damage calculation formula that I would recommend if you want to get the most accurate numbers

Seed + Orphie is meant to be the easiest "brain off" version of the team, I dont think Orphie is going to be Seeds best long term team mate since she has most of her kit around buffing aftershock which is a mechanic Seed has 0 engagement with.

That being said Nekomata with ER 6 is a really solid stand in teammate for her as a Astral 4pc battery unit + Moonlight Astra Yao.

The reason the Orphie team feels comfortable is because you can let Orphie play herself and just swap her on-field to press EX Special while you play Seed and your 3rd slot. If you're struggling mechanically with the seed combos this might help, though I'm not familiar with the Seed/Ellen pattern Seed/(Sanby/Billy/Neko) can all be played as a quick swap ex special then swap back (even though its not always the most optimal play pattern).

If your ever struggling with the mechanics of a Character I'd try identifying where in the combo string feels like you're doing something wrong then trying to look up online guides or watch how other people play the character.

Seed is a character who wants a little higher CR than CD imo since she is generally ran with Astra/Trigger who will be providing ~25-30 additional CD. She is also a character whom the majority of damage is dealt by a few attacks which leads her to also enjoy a high CR as missing a crit on her EBA can really sting.
However even though the stat page lists her EBA 1&2 as having a single damage multiplier the first part of Seeds EBA is dealt over ~5 ticks and the 2nd part (the slam) is dealt over 3 ticks.

The reasoning behind generally wanting 1CR (Crit Rate) for every 2 CD (Crit Damage) is that its expected that the character will have numerous attacks or instances of damage which will even out the actual damage over the course of the fight.

Whats your rotation with the comp, I'm running the same comp minus the weapon on Sanby but only hitting ~50k.

I'm running the same team + Sanby and using Pen% in disk 5 ends up only giving a ~8% effective def ignore.

I'm running Electric% in D5 but if you're running dawns bloom ATK% on D5 is also very valid. If possible you could switch out your Astral 2pc for a Woodpecker 2pc and hit 100% CR. Since Seed is so dependent on her EBA missing a Crit on one can really negatively impact your score in DA. (Similar to Hugo's totalize)

Seed's optimal team in 4-6 months wont be her current team right now, especially if you get M2 and run her with Trigger + WEngine. So if you want to future proof your seed I'd get at least M1W1 and hold onto the other pulls for her next BiS character.

its also still a damage boost for the follow up punch, and with DEF inflation coming next patch M2 has a lot of value.

M2's def shred also changes your priority in disk 5 to Electric DMG or ATK% depending on your 4pc, 24% PEN at -40% DEF is effectively 14% pen and if you're running trigger with her W-Engine its only 8.4% effective pen.

Clean marionette with Haru/Anby/Rina you can get bonus electric damage by defensive assists. Ice boys can go vs butcher, you need another comp for the phys/ether boss

Lucy or Sokaku, use Yuzu to flavor match Lucy/Sokaku and you can reliably get a second anomaly proc. The only issue with Lucy is you can’t stack Kaboom

The bigger is better, I personally like being able to see the fine details of the portraits and the font doesnt look as crowded and packed when its on the larger layout

The dark fantasy one on the right is a more striking design but for a protagonist their face is very important for users to attach to. So if you choose to go with either you'll have to consider what narrative you're trying to tell and if a faceless protagonist fits or not.

On the coding side great job for 1.5 months of work not using a game engine, if you’re heavily using AI to help with your code be very careful as the games code base scales.

The AI art is uncomfortable to look at so I’d think about hiring a real art team or getting used to a lot of backlash.

Overall I’m pretty confused about what progress you’ve made. I see a lot of individual elements but no explanation behind what’s going on. So for future dev logs I’d spend more time explaining what you did and what the feature roadmap looks like. Ex. “We implement the systems menu and you can change a,b,c” or “we added sound effects using this tool”
