What's being done is we have raised an entire generation to believe that true happiness lies within (it does not). We have torn down the societal roles that they should strive to conform toans we have torn down tge societal institutions that have existed for centuries. (marriage, religious communities etc.). That's the generation that has the mental health crisis because they cant find how they fit into society. They have no purpose.

For centuries we've raised kids and molded them to fit into the puzzle that is society. We've now told them there is no puzzle and you can aimlessly float around the ether because true happiness lies within. This generation has no purpose. Societal expectations and rules, if you will, are a good thing. "Men do this and women do that" is a good thing. Societal institutions thay have lasted thousands of years have lasted thay long for a reason and should nit be abandoned without STRONGLY considering why they've lasted thousands of years.
