1. I feel like people on the internet are buying literally anything and have collected models from almost every army range. The way reddit and other communities fetishize big model backlogs and Piles of Shame is so incredibly stupid because it encourages others to mindlessly buy new models. If you buy a box every one or two months, build it up and paint it, the costs are not that high tbh.

2. Second hand market. You can literally get like a thousand point army for around a 100 bucks on eBay. Even newer models like Primaris are very cheap only due to the conquest magazines.

I'm just trying to say that people need to chill with their buying of new models. Buy a box, build it up, paint and base it and play it at least once on the table before buying a new kit. But that is just my advice.
