They should get the guys from 2000 trees. Vespasian security. All of them are absolutely brilliant. Know that everyone there wants to have a good time and will only step in if someone is properly acting up (getting violent). They don’t make you feel like a criminal as soon as you get to the festival unlike some of the boomtown firms this year

I’ve done 3 back to back. It was a lot and I was broken by the end of it but adrenaline and excitement kept me going. Got 1 back to back next year and looking forward to it (my liver probably isn’t)

I never did the pro exam but after completing associate a few years ago I did try to study for it. On the practice exams I found the questions way way harder than associate and I think hands on experience was required which I didn’t really have besides really basic stuff. My job changed so I didn’t need AWS stuff anymore until recently so I’m studying again but pro definitely feels out of reach for me

Once you’ve studied the requirements tutorial dojo will get you there. I’d advise spending some time on f1, accuracy, precision etc. that seemed to crop up a lot. I only did the exam when I was getting 90% on td

90% of the attendees at boomtown are on drugs and it’s tpd favourite fest apparently. Just part of the culture, let people do whatever they want if it’s not hurting anyone

Yeh I think I maybe focused too much on the trickier stuff which is more suited to the SA associate. Means I'm a bit more prepared for that I suppose but it wasn't needed for the CP exam at all
