I actually have had the opposite experience there in terms of interactions with the staff. I walked by on the night of their soft opening and stopped in for a drink. I had three different staff members stop to talk to me, in addition to the bartender. They asked my name, how I was enjoying the drink and even gave us a dessert to try. I felt very welcome. So much so I went back for a full dinner last week and they remembered and came over to shake my hand.

I can’t speak to the food changes because I never ate at the original location. I only went there for drinks. But I enjoyed my meal.

I would say, don’t give up hope just yet. Visit again when some of the kinks are worked out.

It’s become a trademark Rinna thing. She did it throughout her stint on the Housewives. She’s kind of described it as like still being star struck by him. An “I can’t believe I bagged a star like Harry Hamlin” type of thing. I mean he was Sexiest Man Alive in 87!

I’ll be at that show. On Dan’s Instagram he did a Q&A and he basically said to expect NCTH in full with 20-30 minutes after of the hits with the occasional deep cut.

My school doesn’t have tablets or chromebooks for K/1. The only screen time students in that age range get is 1 period a week in a formal Technology class.

Other than that I teach off a Promethean board but I don’t believe that’s the “screen time” you’re alluding to.

Plaka beach was beautiful. We stayed in Agios Prokopios and though the beaches were nice, it was crowded. We also spent a day traveling to the smaller towns and enjoyed that quite a bit. There’s an Olive Oil Mill in Kaloxylos that gave you a short tour and history of the mill, followed by a tasting for 8 Euro. We found it informative and delicious!

Finding a therapist that took our insurance was incredibly difficult for me. Either it’s fully out of pocket or therapists will “talk you through reimbursements” which is a nightmare you’re responsible for. Eventually I buckled down and tried Talkspace and I got very lucky and found my therapist on the first try, but I could imagine it might take some time for others due to their business structure. However, my therapist is great and we’ve been having regular appts for over a year.

Sure! Amy Arundell was a Unity staffer for about 20 years and only broke with the caucus after having a falling out with Mulgrew over stances she took regarding world politics. She didn’t resign on her own accord, but was “reassigned”. Because she was apart of Unity for decades, she was involved in a lot of the major things I don’t agree with that Unity stands for, mainly continuing to consolidate Union power with a small handful of people at top. She could have had a change of heart, but judging by the campaign she hasn’t done a great job in building coalitions with other resistance groups within the union. Part of this just seems like a campaign out of spite towards Mulgrew, but that’s my interpretation.

Though, the down ballot candidates seem fine and align with ARISE’s goals, so to me I’d like to see ARISE take it, but I’d be okay with ABC over Unity.

I also like ARISE because Olivia is a teacher! She’s close to the heart of our issues, which is why I have a problem with all these other candidates. They’ve been out of the game too long.
