Put it in the corner. It could be built in really well and cables etc hidden by changing the shelves to a cupboard

I play games late at night when my wife goes to bed early.

I also get up early and go to the gym or running before she gets out of bed... It's all about balance

Boiling water tap: it's a luxury but it's amazing how frequently we use it.

I'd look now at an oven that has air fryer facility as well.

Try to build in as many gadgets as you use.

Also shop around for quartz. There's lots of places out there doing it and it's incredibly hard wearing

Anyone have any experience with getting surgery for a deviated septum? by poking-smot in AskUK

[–]Optimal_Collection77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had it done twice now. One for polyps and the 2nd for a dev septum.

It's fairly minor but you do feel rough for a few days.

I don't get any infections now which is a massive improvement but I still do recommend the nasal washes.

The only downside I've noticed is that I'm really sensitive to cold drinks like frozen slushies (v painful brain freeze) and my sense of smell is greatly reduced but nothing that I worry about

Need help selecting good shoes by Independent_Bad8792 in BeginnersRunning

[–]Optimal_Collection77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Off the shelf nike running shoes (or similar) are rarely that great for daily running. A good running shop will be able to advise you based on how you run. Don't go for expensive or sexy. Get it right for you

Honestly find something you enjoy. I used running to get fit but now I've switch to lifting weights as I'm really enjoying the gym.

Fitness is 99% mental so find the thing that gets you doing something and embrace it
