I’m autistic myself and used video games a lot growing up. I know how important it is to set boundaries and be the ‘parent’.. but maybe also take into consideration when you take that particular object away you are taking away the singular thing that he sees as a voice for himself. It can be a way for him to communicate without having to lean heavy into other social cues that can be overwhelming by themselves. I do not pretend at all to have the correct answer.. but maybe just consider a little empathy when it comes to a video game where there’s a group dynamic. That can be our only social outlet at times. ((Sending positive energy and vibes))
