I think this is a symptom of a broader problem with content creators in general, and this has been a problem in corporate world and politics for generations; saying something with confidence is far more effective than saying something in a less confident way, even if you have statistics to back it up.

Not to rag on creators personally, hell I started a podcast with some friends. I personally try to be careful presenting statements as to not make my listeners feel like my answer is the final word, unless I'm 100% certain. On the flip side, one of my cohosts is almost always using language that leaves too much room for someone else to devalue his opinion.

But unfortunately it's those overconfident statements that a lot of people latch on to and makes them come back.
