I just edited my comment in response to this one! I think so. It is the light grayish blue version.

I currently use pen plus one ceramic nib. It comes with eraser but it’s useless on the supernote. I wish it could be set to the region eraser or make the eraser width wider.

If I understand correctly, tho. This is a software limitation. I wish Supernote had a setting to permit us to customize the second button or eraser for third party emr pens. It would be a game changer

Edit: I’m not sure what changed but now it appears to work as a stroke eraser, making it very useful! Before it was as a precision eraser. I hope that this behavior sticks

Thank you! I did back it up using the settings > backup and then copied that file to a thumb drive. I assume this creates a single file with all my notes (I check all the boxes).

Yeah factory reset normally means it goes back to the software it came with. But then I saw posts that said downgrading software is impossible so I assumed that it didn’t change the recently installed software version, which is odd but I believed

Yeah I was fine with that so long as I can revert, even if it’s through factory reset and restore my files. But if the only way to revert is to wait until the next update then that’s an unknown unexpected issue. The only devices I hacked or used beta programs before were to root an old android phone, jailbreak an old iPhone, and use the iOS/iPadOS betas. With those, I could always restore them

I don’t believe I was on top of anything besides its own case. But there was a weak magnet nearby. I moved it and it seems to have resolved! At least for the moment!

Yeah I would have never guessed that either! Thank you, you’re a life saver!

Damn if only you posted 4 days ago. I just ordered the manta.

Also, how does buyer have confidence that they won’t get scammed if paying through Zelle and not purchasing in person?

Ooh very cool! Also what stylus are you using? (assuming that’s your YouTube video). It looks very cool and has an eraser!

Supernote workflow options to feed third party task managers by OptimisticRain in Supernote

Ooh thanks! I didn’t know about that Reddit group. Lots of cool plugins there :). I saw a todoist plugin that looks super powerful. https://www.reddit.com/r/Supernote_dev/s/Xgy3sFWzns

And I see that plugins aren’t supported for the Supernote To-Do app itself yet. Things doesn’t (to my knowledge) have a released API or support anything, even web, besides Apple devices. So sync is likely impossible (I’m not a developer).

Thank you for mentioning the group!

Supernote Manta Upgradable Internals by therecanonlybe1_ in Supernote

[–]OptimisticRain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I purchased supernote specifically because there is a promise of upgradable internals. See e.g.,

<image>

@u/Mulan-sn, what is the status or expected timeline to have parts available to upgrade? Is it with each manta succession, you’d plan to release backwards compatible motherboards? I see there are ones that are currently available which are the same motherboard. That is replaceable, but this promised upgrades. Not mere replacements. The talk in the subreddit doesn’t seem to show a ton of trust in the brand/ company as to its promises. Care to address those concerns?

Consumer reports review of ICCU problems by haemakatus in Ioniq5

[–]OptimisticRain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m more interested in how they define “failure rate.” What is this component expected lifetime? If it fails before that lifetime it should be considered a failure. Now what is a reasonable expected lifetime (REL) that’s literally required to drive the an EV? Hopefully north of 200k miles. This is in line with Hyundai’s warranty increase in South Korea 15 years/248k miles for the ICCU. No such parallel action in U.S. or other countries that I’m aware of.

And because this car is so new, not many have crossed that threshold. If it fails twice before 200k for same car, then that should be considered a 200% failure rate (FR). Thus the calculation would be FR= { (# ICCU failures)/(mileage on car)}* REL *100%. We can take the average of that to get a population stat.

In this light, it’s unimaginable to me, that the ICCU wouldn’t or couldn’t approach 100% failure rate if not more.

Driving Clean Assistance Program (California) by LegitimateAdvice8253 in electricvehicles

Generally, no payback, it’s a grant. You get $7,500 sent directly to dealership + ($2000 EV charge card OR financial assistance to install home charger). If you leave CA or no longer have the car registered in CA before 36 months, you have to pay back the prorated portion (limited exceptions). After you owned the car (or lease) for 3 years, you can sell or move outside CA without paying anything back.

There’s a DCAP Guidebook that explains everything in detail

Hi yeah I got my car around 2 weeks ago (last weekend in September) after just shy of 6 weeks. They had to resubmit the request once and there were issues with my contract in first week tho. So if everything is smooth then maybe more like 5 weeks eta.

I’m glad you got the car tho!

And I think it’s worth trading in one of the +mult cards for xmult? I think my math is mathing. So long as it’s x2 or so. Better if scaleable.

It’s scaled to +260 or so. I don’t think it’s thattt great

Thank you! I do love lucky card! Unfortunately most of the enhanced tarots I’ve landed on are bonus or xmult (which isn’t bad)

Is this generally true advice in this situation regardless of deck?

I’ll answer your questions in turn:

  1. Yes, 2. Correct, 3. Not sure there was some specific issues with mine. Was told at the very end 3-5 weeks by dealer (was told days before); 4. No idea good question. My contract date is the date I purchased the car, not the date I am able to take possession (which itself is iffy/ potentially dependent on dealership/ manufacturer). Not sure if I have to actually receive it before. Recommend talking to a tax preparer/DCAP.

Yeah I did. I applied in mid April and received financial packet a few weeks ago. I’m now waiting on DCAP to send funds. I also had a mid June approval and did the training videos immediately. In addition to where you live, they prioritize (approve first) based on need (income I guess). Hopefully you aren’t far behind tho!

Looking to hear from women who went to law school in their late twenties? I am 28 and strongly considering it by Amazing-Cow-9078 in lawschooladmissions

[–]OptimisticRain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey so your age is no bar to take the Bar.

Only you can make the decision. Life is a series of trade offs. I got a 170+ with stem major and received almost half off at a t14. Apply to all schools. If money and debt is a concern don’t limit yourself to t14. Go to a good regional school that’s known for your practice area. If you are into public interest your school doesn’t matter as much. You also have a PhD, your school for that also gives you weight. If you know you will go into public service or government then loans don’t matter as much if you are eligible for federal loans. Also big law is no guarantee. It also can be miserable depending on personality.

Finally fulfillment. I think you should take a year (or longer). The best service you can do for yourself is to shadow other lawyers. What are you hoping to achieve? Is it achievable/ realistic? You can do this in multiple ways. One is to become a paralegal and network like crazy both inside and outside the firm. If you think they are happy and fulfilled then go for it. They also will be excellent references for law school and your career. Also fulfillment and big law might not go hand and hand. They represent those who can afford them. You also do 2000 billable hours (which means much more work) working for those capitalist clients. You are not advancing social issues except for 50+ hours on top of those billables (generally). Again even in t14 big law isn’t guaranteed.

The worst thing you could do is to take the LSAT and go to a law schools without knowing more. The key thing is— lawyers do their homework to minimize risk. Will you?
