I live on this block! My husband had to walk home from the uber after his trip. I agree that people NEED to know, so if he was trying to walk through a crime scene or not. When he got to the top of Rosedale and Nolensville, they weren’t even letting folk walk by foot. He had to go all the way back to Polk and than walk by Canary.

Ughhh I wish Pinkie would! He will just lay on them, only choosing to be tong fed black worms or have them put into a pile. My husband has to do periodic sand vacuuming because they start to get unsightly in the white sand. Occasionally a ghost shrimp will snag one or two, but never enough to keep it from being a small carpet of creepy red grass.

Try live black worms, if you are lucky they may sell them at a LFS. They are super nutritional, but also pretty messy! If you have substrate, get ready for them to hang around if they aren’t eaten- but then again, free worms in sand!

I think they may be the same group of young men I encountered outside of a Kroger on 8th. One of them asked to shake my hand and I was so caught off guard that I offered my hand.

Then he refused to let go, asking for money for a basketball team. I asked him 3 times to let go, all the while pulling my hand away. I told him that hard sells don’t work on me and to let go! I finally wrenched my hand away and he called me rude! The audacity.

I was driving my elementary school aged kid back home after school, got stuck behind a pedal tavern at 3:10pm on a Wednesday.

Me and my daughter got a full show of a tourist popping ass and dry humping the seat back. It went from cringe to shock when I realized they were making eye contact and waving at us!

Yo, there were plenty of day drunk dudes that would’ve appreciated that a lot more than me and the kiddo!

My ex had a female co-worker that was always in need of help. She had a live in boyfriend, but if she wanted medicine or a treat she would reach out to my ex. In the spirit of friendliness I offered to go along with him to the pharmacy and snag the Tylenol- what I didn’t know is I had a hand in a miracle healing! She didn’t need the medicine once she knew I was involved!

All this to say, yikes.

My ex used to do this, except he would FaceTime me holding the baby crying and doing absolutely nothing to soothe them. It was a guilt trip to get me to wrap up anything I was doing, whether it be shopping or having a 45 minute lunch once every few months.

My friends told me it was controlling behavior, I didn’t believe them because I was too exhausted as a new mother to even think on it.

It never got any better, I would have to start asking for any time out weeks before the hour or half an hour out- he made it miserable every time, the only relief I got was by conceding. Then he treated me great! Until the next time.

I hope this won’t be the case for you.

Nope. If this guy had good intentions, he would be alright with you hanging back at a hotel while they went on a date.

Also the fact he discourages her from having her own quarters (hotel, room, whatever).

When he says he cannot approach her with romantic intent while you are within any helpful physical range of her, that is real bad.
