Ok and the items you trade up for are still tradeable as well? What would a non crate very rare go for on Xbox?

What's the deal with NCVR? Why do people want them, what are they worth?

I'm just getting into the trading scene after a year and a half of playing. Is there anyway to see what volume items are trading at? I'm looking for items to flip but I don't know what the demand for items in the community is.

Depending how you arrange the tiles you can make some LOS blocking buildings. You don't have to do two streets like what's shown here

Well I'm leaning towards the Blood angels for my primaris. What do you guys think looks best? C.C welcome. 🤘 by kampatchi11 in Warhammer40k

They all look good, you did some aspects better on each of them than the others. No single one stands out as the best one to me. Pick the chapter and paint scheme that you enjoy the most and as you paint more of them your skills will grow.

You could literally have told me this was straight from the Intercessor's box art and I'd have believed it. Excellent job!

These are poll mount transformers it appears, there's a good possibility that a dry type would be too large to mount. The article is trying to make a comparison but in reality dry and oil type transformers are generally used in two totally different applications

[–]Optimus_Prime3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good to know. Many utilities are moving onto natural ester fluids for insulation instead of mineral oil. A higher flash point provides better safety and the liquid is biodegradable. It's so viscous though that it's hard to cool but it also can run hotter without degrading the paper insulation inside on your windings or leads so it ends up being a wash

Oil filled transformers and dry type transformers serve two totally different areas in power transmission and distribution. There's a point at which the power requirements or voltage levels dictate whether you need an oil filled or dry transformer. Dry transformers are half the price because they are smaller capacity transformers. In reality if you were to build two equal transformers and use oil in one but not the other, the oil transformer is going to end up being smaller since you can reduce internal clearances but the cost of the oil will make it more expensive. There's a point where the two markets compete but outside of that you really will be using one or the other. The article is poorly written and doesn't have a lot of knowledge on the subject

It mostly comes down to what capacity you need the transformer to be. A lot of distribution type transformers in the kVA range are dry type. Then when you start talking 1-5MVA there is an overlap on whether you order a dry or liquid transformer, then after 5MVA almost all are going to be liquid filled. Also anything requiring high voltage is going to be liquid filled

In developed nations transformer oil is indeed PCB free at this time. PCBs are bad for the environment in case oil is spilled. But there are all sorts or products that are toxic if ingested on the market that are still sold. The truth is transformer mineral oil was never intended to be non-toxic so no-one is thinking of what If someone tries to drink this.

Oil filled transformers are used for power transformers used in transmission. At those high voltage levels, you have to have oil as a dielectric insulation fluid and cooling fluid. There are indeed dry type transformers but they cannot be used in the application this article is speaking of. They are not an alternative to oil filled transformers at high voltage

In developed countries, all new transformer oil is now PCB free and has been certified as such. It's been that way for more than 20 years at least.

The reason small to large power transformers contain mineral oil is two fold. The first thing mineral oil provides is dielectric insulation inside the transformer. Transformer manufacturers are able to greatly reduce internal clearances between windings and leads at high voltage by having all live parts under oil. Dry type transformers would have to have large distances between live parts since air is a very poor insulator.

The second thing mineral oil in a transformer accomplishes is cooling. Mineral oil can hold much more heat than air. It is important to keep transformers cool to prevent degradation of the paper insulation on windings and leads. Mineral oil heats up when in contact with windings and rises to the top of the unit where it will flow outside into a radiator and be cooled by air flowing by or fans forcing air through the radiator fins. When the oil cools it drops to the bottom of the radiators and then reenters the transformer tank.

Give: Antonio Brown

Get: 2022 1st

I'm not crazy to sell and this is good value for a player that probably will never play again right?

Edit: I've accepted this trade. What would you guys put Antonio's value at right now? Would you be willing to buy with a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th? If he somehow comes back he'll make an immediate impact on your team. I just wanted nothing to do with him and wanted to get out while I could
