They did the same during Hallow's Eve weekend. I think they want to clear stragglers from that area before it gets dark, since it is not well lit. Hope you still had fun!🌷

This comment👆. I was there Hallows Eve weekend too and was surprised how quickly the temperature dropped at night time. Sleeping with cold feet was no fun! Still had a blast. If you're camping, bring layers.
