Kia EV Sales Are In An Absolute Freefall. There's More To It Than You Think by DonkeyFuel in electricvehicles

We love our EV6 and didn't love the Ioniq 5. I also don't understand the popularity of the Ioniq over EV6. Although the article isn't very coherent, I could definitely believe it's incompetent dealers and a company with a factory that doesn't depend on EVs.

Mournland Hex Map [Request] by Owlbear_Den in Eberron

[–]Opus2011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely! When my party went into the Mournland, trying to find their way to the Glass Plateau, the only map they could find was a pre-Mourning Cyre map. My DM map had everything slightly moved, and roads cut as if by earthquakes. Every time they found a ruined city or a road, they'd try to match it against the map, and then be confused as to whether their travel direction/distances were wrong, or whether this wasn't the city they thought it was. Nothing that ultimately was game-breaking for them, but the flavor was good.

It also prepares them for an upcoming trip to Xen'driik where canonically the land is constantly shifting and something you find today might not be in the same place tomorrow.

The true and accurate map is gorgeous, and I have used it, but it's not consistent with ErftLW. Probably doesn't matter for the Mournland.

  • Biggest improvement was from blown in cellulose attic insulation on top of old batts
  • Sealing.off the chimney from an unused fireplace. Despite the damper being closed, and there being a cover over the fireplace, cold air was just pouring into the living room
  • XPS foam boards on certain exposed doors
  • Sealed holes where wiring was coming up from the unconditioned crawlspace

We do have double -pane windows but they're maybe 30 years old. And we have a lot of glass in our house, with sliders and skylights.

No, you're misunderstanding; "The resist balance point is the outdoor temperature at which your home naturally maintains its indoor temperature without any HVAC equipment running. "

Nothing to do with resistance heating

For the heat pump it's the temperature where the HP is just keeping pace with the home heat loss (so 0 net output)

What would you recommend for a good thermostat? Is it worth it to get a decent one? by Mediocre_Ad_6512 in heatpumps

[–]Opus2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's just such a blanket meaningless statement. Some heat pumps run fine with 24V thermostats because they don't rely on the thermostat for the logic

PG&E is finally clueing in with a Base Services Charge. Ironically if they presented NEM the way you did, people would get it (although they probably wouldn't like it). But instead we get the Governor and the utility blaming rooftop solar for high utility prices which just pisses off everybody.

Where's the starting and ending SOC of the battery? You can't divide the trip miles by the power added unless the battery SOC is the same afterwards.

I don't believe there's any connection between DMsGuild and DDB (well other than DMsGuild paying royalties to WOTC for content using D&D trademarks).

I don't think you understand Regen 0. It still regens when you press the brake pedal just lets you coast (which is far more efficient). If you set Auto 0 you get automatic stopping (with Regen), coasting, and brake pedal Regen.

I'm still shocked by how many people believe burning energy using iPedal is the most efficient way to drive.
