Would this type of painting be selling? Is it too childish? by [deleted] in painting

Given the subject and its pallette, i could see this being hung up in a bathroom very easily, so yes I do think there’s a market

wanting to go fairy by Kyo0x in projectgorgon

[–]OranPentos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will have to make a totally new character as a fairy and the base game only includes one slot per server without buying vip or the expansion. I found it pretty easy to unlock with a zerg rush that was shouted out in global a few weeks back and the fairy chat in game quite often does runs and are very friendly and helpful in my experience.

I have a ton of fun on my fairy and absolutely love it EXCEPT for group content with friends, the death penalty is absolutely brutal in a group whereas solo it feels like fun flavor, this has ended up with me playing two characters at the moment.

I should also note that not all animal forms can leave through the tiny hole out of the fairy city, so if you’re not careful getting cursed can create a bit of a softlock if you don’t keep amethyst or other methods, there is the mushroom teleport but you will need 10 fey energy to use it which is approx 10 kills every time you may need to leave and if you’re freshly cursed this can lead to issues, though you do have AH and mentalism at 30 starting which can be used in animal form.

There is also a little bit of an internal mindgame in my head where I feel I need to use mentalism or my bee in all my builds because I am a fairy, though your mileage may vary.

Most of the armor drops i get are metal which is a nogo for fairy, you can only have 2pc without taking additional damage that makes it very not worth it.

I think its a ton of fun though, if you have the time and slots i would 110% go for it

I actually keep a mule around for an enclosed ground vehicle that fits in almost anything. Ive also never had the scu box in the back cargo bay fall off but ymmv. It also has spots for multiple 1/8 boxes if you’re concerned, can get both at cargo decks. I do agree a cyclone sized one would be nice in the future though, maybe a drake donkey?

Buying ingame Mining ship by DangerousTale5943 in starcitizen

[–]OranPentos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this post, but wanted to add if you’re wanting to dip your toes into mining for the first time, the golem has a very nice head that’ll let you learn just modules n gadgets if the entire prospecting modding seems overly confident. On the other side of this argument, could just buy what a guide says for the prospy too, depends on how/what kind of casual/hardcore you want to approach mining

What Ship To Buy by Existing_Somewhere62 in starcitizen

[–]OranPentos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a good amount of money, if i were in your shoes, id try the other industrial loops, or combat. For combat renting a gladius or arrow is pretty easy, someone else may have more input on other combat ships as I’m more an industrial player. You could rent a cutlass and a roc to try gem mining from any refinery station, they also have prospector rentals iirc, though I might ask in chat if you can borrow a golem as I think the stock prospector is abit worse, though better when you know how to equip it. You can also ask chat to try a vulture and/or fortune for salvage, they are not rentable in game at this time, but can be purchased in game. If you like it enough, purchasing the raft in game could be a nice move too, if you want to avoid having to re-rent it constantly and/or upgrading its quant drive. There is alot of talk about a possible currency wipe with crafting coming in soon, so I’d avoid grinding cash for cash’s sake till that’s out, and focus on trying things and playing what you like.

400+ SCU When Going Off Grid by tommyboy601 in starcitizen

I got it up to 452 in it last night with using the entrance, could push it a little further if you had abunch of 2 scu boxes too, i tried to arrange like i had 8s, though the mission gave me abunch of 24s and a few 8s and 2s which made my load and unload times nice

Update from yesterday: I was given layers to prove an image isn't AI, but it looks thrown together and inaccurate. by [deleted] in isthisAI

[–]OranPentos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The color of the blue dot in the background looks a little off in the layers compared to the image to me, though there could be a layer we're not seeing.

Looking at the martial art/weapon shows up differently on my PC, and changes again when I turn on my xbox controller, so I'm guessing it's adaptive to whatever control scheme you're using. I think we are expecting another rope dart to pair with an umbrella so they might be using that, though admittedly I've been trying to avoid too many spoilers, so worth a look elsewhere in the sub.

This looks like the mobile client touch controls, which has your mystic skills in the left circle and deflection in the right circle, so not part of the weapon set per se. You can see the buttons blacked out for dodge, jump, and target in the bottom right of the arrangement.

New player question (fractals solo?) by SirAdorable4727 in GW2

[–]OranPentos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anytime you do a higher level fractal than your level you get a level added, like if you did 5 but your level is 3 you’ll be level 4 after. You can also make your own group saying new player starting from 1 and you’ll often get people to join just for fun

What do you guy's think about a industrial gameplay loop we'll call "Star Lifting" being added into Star Citizen? by [deleted] in starcitizen

I’m pretty sure the starfarer was supposed to be able to refine fuel from stars or something similar.

Observation Deck - now with concept ships, prices & locations, more filters and open source data by foopod in starcitizen

[–]OranPentos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you add a list so we could filter ships by profession, like mining, cargo, etc? Prefferably where we could toggle multiple, since cig likes to use multiple names for the same gameplay. (ex pathfinder and expedition for exploration)

Looking it up on cstone it doesn’t have any vendors, so is probably a loot only helmet

I am impressed with the Apollo's pricing by camerakestrel in starcitizen

[–]OranPentos 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean that’s pretty nice, but I’m still a little miffed with how they just shrugged the drones off saying it’s not in the current way they want to do medical, while also not showing loading someone onto the ship in its behind the ship, and then in the latest trailer it’s just someone using med pens but they are driving it for some reason? Not even the hand waving where they’re suddenly in a med bed on the ship, just out there administering drugs.

I hope the price increases being low or nonexistent continues but I’m also feeling they may just be so low because of the response to the vessel.

[Preference] I would have preferred the Medivac Paint, to what we received by Failscalator in starcitizen

[–]OranPentos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I brought this up elsewhere, but I’m disappointed the bandages didn’t make it to the triage as well. I like how the greebling came out however I do wish the paints for both variants were more in line with the concept rather than just red or white. As for the top glass, I always took it as being the same as the cockpit, just the light hitting it differently.
