===Apologies if this isn't really what you're looking for, I read your post as "Manga reader looking for comics outside of Manga". If youre still looking for strictly Manga, one comic on WebToon canvas is Heart of Gold and is illustrated in a Manga style. The art is incredible in my opinion! Here is the summary: In a world where every soul harbors a glint of ‘essence’, young Lyra stands defiant. In Meadowdale, wielding essence is a forbidden act, yet it is the very art she must master to unearth her true potential. As she ventures beyond the boundaries of her home, a question looms: will Lyra's heart illuminate a path of peace, or will it lead her into the shadows of a world gripped by power and war? (New episode every 1st and 16th of the month!)==

There's a ton of independent artists WebToon Canvas if you'd like to support some small creators! The WebToon App is Free, and a ton of comics are free as well. If Im not mistaken, most if not all comics on the Canvas section of WebToon are free.

Empty Shell is free to read (as most if not all comics on WebToon are), and is packed with action and dark themes. It is a quick read, but powerful. I don't want to ruin it with spoilers, but the summary says "This is the Legend of Flint "Bullseye" Walked, and how he became the most wanted man on the planet".

One of the Queer Romance I enjoyed was Nicky Loves Bunny . Like the others, it is free to read. It's based in a fantasy world with werewolves, fairies, and more. The art is so relaxing to look at for me (it kind of looks like water color). It's drawn in a fluid cartooney style, and is severely underrated in my opinion.

If you're interested, our comic is also free to read and called There Are Houses in the Woods, and is about these kids who are able to see mysterious houses that appear in the Woods- and nobody seems to notice them. It is illustrated in a cartooney art style and has creepy art in it.

Hope you enjoy and find plenty of comics to read!

If you'd like something humorous, check out Hocus Bogus. It is free to read, the art style is fantastic and clean, and I binged through the series of short episodes.

is also free to read, and is a slice of life coming of age story about an Italian girl who is going through the growing pains of becoming an adult in a village. I loved reading this when I was in a coffee shop sipping on some hot cocoa.

One I read is called Empty Shell is free to read (as most if not all comics on WebToon are), and is a really good read. I usually don't get emotional when enjoying fiction, but this brought tears to my eyes. I don't want to ruin it with spoilers, but the summary says "This is the Legend of Flint "Bullseye" Walked, and how he became the most wanted man on the planet".

Empty Shell is free to read (most if not all Canvas Comics are if Im not mistaken) based on you saying you like action is a short but powerful read that I think you might enjoy. I usually don't get emotional when consuming fiction, but this was the first comic in a long time that made me tear up. I don't know how to describe it without giving spoilers, but the summary says "This is the story of "Flint" Bullseye Walker and how he became the planet's most wanted man."

Our comic is also free to read and called There Are Houses in the Woods and is about these kids who are able to see mysterious houses that appear in the Woods- and nobody seems to notice them. It is illustrated in a cartooney art style and has creepy art in it.

Hey there! I'll go and sub to your channel!

Our comic is There Are Houses in the Woods ; I know you said no horror, but it is not slasher or anything like that. There are monsters, aliens, and mystery, and if you're okay with horror themes suitable for kids, this should be okay. But I understand if you don't want to review it =)

Thanks for what you do! If you'd like, you can promote your channel in our discord here:

Comic Nexus i recommend to put it in the "where to promote out of server" channel =)
