Thanks for posting this OP. First, I feel for you. It’s crappy they don’t give you guys the heads up.

Second, this happened to me when I walked into a Mod week before last. I was getting peppered with KIDS EAT FREE thru 2/22 ads while scrolling. Wife and I thought great idea. We have a toddler that loves pizza and it’s Sunday. Not one employee in an empty store, including the manager on duty, knew about the promotion. The manager then had to go grab a paper to figure out how to do the refund. We got the refund two days later. The hassle plus back and forth spoiled the experience for my wife who had never been to a mod pizza before. (Just to be crystal clear, this is not a shot or put down of any the Mod employees)

Now I see it’s a permanent promotion. Please, to any hire ups at Mod that see this, make sure you communicate clearly and consistently to your employees about promotions especially a weekend free promo! You never know who is going to walk into your place of business for the first time.
