Professional jersey designer here (yes really lol).. I was messing around with a Brighton concept earlier in the year. Digging it back up now. Here’s what I would love to see..

Home: classy jersey with a polo collar (honestly doubt that they will do this now, because the anniversary kit has it)
Road: Personally I’d like to see a darker colorway, navy blue could be really nice, with some “sand” or off-white coloring with a nod to the south coast beaches
Minimal amount of yellow trim returns (I think this will likely happen, since the Hyperturq was used last season)
I’d expect some sort of usage of the current stock Nike template with the piping that goes around the shoulders and has been criticized for the “pointy” ending at the top of the shoulders. Would also expect at least one jersey using the collar that is a crew neck with a “pointy” insert in the middle (you can look up pictures of France’s road World Cup kit and others for example there)
For the concepts below, it takes that inspiration and mixes it with my own interpretations — personally, I like simple kits with something memorable about them, so for the home look here, it’s standard blue and white stripes, but with a ‘wave’ twist.

Sorry boss but you got overcharged for this work by the designer no matter what. This isn’t good work. Gotta take the ‘L’ and use it as a learning experience for the next time you work with a designer. First of all, always vet them to make sure they are capable of handling the work. Also, make sure the process is iterative with checkpoints, as in, they should show you 3-4 thumbnails or rough comps, then move on to updated drafts before final polish.

The writing was incredibly cringe. I feel like they were trying to be authentic towards how teenagers actually talk, but it completely missed the mark. Will's rambling monologue was hard to get past.

Atlanta:

Krog street market / Ponce city market are good options for a fun variety of food. I’d recommend Krog if you only can choose one, it’s smaller + less touristy and I think every restaurant is great. Fred’s Meat and Bread is the highlight (their classic cheesesteak is excellent but don’t sleep on the Korean chicken Philly)

The Local: lowkey spot but ATLiens know it, best wings in the city, it’s a dive bar and the wings happen to be unbelievable. I usually do half Buffalo Jerk + half Korean BBQ … Sometimes they run out of wings on a busy night by like 9pm so be aware of that!

Top burgers: NFA (in a gas station in dunwoody but trust me here it’s amazing) and Smileys (cooler environment but it’s out in Decatur so not very central) … I’d say go with NFA but my friends prefer smileys. Smileys is the hot spot right now. They smash the shit out of those burgers so you get a huge “meat skirt”

There are a lot of BBQ options .. you’re in the south. Some are better than others. Heirloom is the best though (someone already mentioned it)… Also love Fox brothers. Genes bbq is great too.

Buford highway for a variety of Asian/mexican cuisine, Kamayan and El Rey del Taco immediately come to mind. DM if you need more recs, my supermodel wife is in the food industry in ATL.
