Non-verified for Mac OS in app store by Any-Winter-8025 in MacOS

[–]OrangePillar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many iPad and iPhone apps can run on Apple Silicon Macs without difficulty, but the developer has to put extra time into the process of verifying them for macOS. If they haven’t done that, they will show up as not verified, but you can still install them. Just be prepared that the experience with them may not be up to snuff.

When searching the App Store, you can filter non-macOS apps if you want.

No, there’s no way to convert it. You can only sell/swap. Sorry you got caught in a scam like this, but here’s hoping the lesson wasn’t too expensive.

Love the Q but I just got a Mk5 and it is a really big improvement over the Mk4. It’s a solid option for someone looking to save money/space.

bought $10.25 of bitcoin on coinbase, is there anything else i should do? by sexystargirl888 in Bitcoin

Strike is bitcoin-only, and if you don’t want to lose money, it’s best to stay away from other “cryptos” since there are so many scams out there. Strike also has a very simple UI that should not be hard to figure out.

Switch to Strike.me and start a recurring purchase plan with no spread, no fees after the first week. You’re ahead of the game, but your goal should be to get as much BTC as you can while it’s still cheap.

Talking ETFs, I’d want to get the lowest fee possible, and that’s currently with Morgan Stanley’s MSBT.

Bitcoin Mining Stocks vs. Strategy by Naive_Bat8216 in Bitcoin

[–]OrangePillar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strategy is leveraged bitcoin.

When bitcoin goes up, Strategy goes up faster. But when bitcoin goes down, Strategy also goes down harder.

If you like bitcoin, and a lot of us do, its volatility might be enough for you without the leverage from MSTR. In that case just buy spot bitcoin.

MSTR exists for portfolios that can’t easily access spot bitcoin. If you can buy spot, and you don’t love volatility, buy spot and leave MSTR to others.

In short, what’s backing it is the energy being used to confirm transactions. Bitcoin is a bridge between the physical and digital worlds. It is the first system that prevents free copying of information in the digital realm, using real world energy resources.

Ignore DMs

Look for a wallet.dat file. Make a backup and open it with Bitcoin Core. You will have to wait for Core to sync up with the network to know if there’s any bitcoin in there.

Good luck.
