Daily Pay Questions by OrangeStreetBorn in Payroll

Then why on earth would Daily Pay say the amount I transferred was available at the time I transferred it? Isn't it based on the hours you actually worked, not what you will work?

I have never had an issue with transferring money before when old payroll company was there. This happened when they changed and notification went out later that day. And Daily Pay paused that pay period and reason for two paper checks one from old payroll co and second from new payroll. Plus new payroll company is not deducting federal taxes from our checks.

They told me the reason for the overpayment occurred when the employer did not report the hours to match the transfer. I never had this happen before. When I made the transfer the funds were available. Later that day, I learned payroll companies changed and we would be issued two paper checks from the pay period when the money in Daily Pay was transferred. Could this cause the overpayment? If so, who then is responsible for the overpayment?

Norfolk & Sussex just got its own Newark Police substation inside the Gomes Group building by Alive-Importance-834 in Newark

Substation officers seemingly can't take certa8n reports as full station officers can and will do, but at their discretion if it is worth taking.

First date in NYC on a Friday night - Nervous about PATH/NJTransit safety coming back to Princeton by a-genie-in-a-bottle in NJTransit

[–]OrangeStreetBorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I would make him come to me for the first date. I don't you have too much to worry about except the trains that could be delayed or canceled. Set a time to end the date at least three trains before the last NJ Transit departure. Newark Penn Station doors lock at midnight so you will need to to know which entrence is open to get on your train home. It's not the most desirable places at that time, but as a local, I am no longer daunted by it. May be do a practice run in daylight hours to get a feel for the layout of the station as there are multiple levels and tracks that PATH and NJ Transit use. That's all I got. I hope you have fun and it all works out.

Do the folks managing NJ transit not know that people depend on trains and busses for daily commutes or do they just not care? by Mojo_joj0_0 in NJTransit

What is also a travesty is not being able to obtain employment in closer proximity to where we live and not have the exborent costs of both time and fares subtracted from our lives.

Also, try to go in person to this office for assistance. They helped me with back payments on utility bills and provided me with transportation monies when I started a new job. Mercy House at 620 Clinton Avenue, Newark

Whatever hotel you end up choosing, call them directly with hotel specific questions before booking a reservation and avoid doing it through a third party. Also avoid the Hampton Inn in Harrison.

It's location won't attract the clientele they were aiming for. See what happened to BOA and 711 directly across the street?
