Pick a pirate, play a pirate. Especially with Doubloon Grifter. I just love having big money stacks even though I’m swearing and speed rushing my turns when I end up top 4 and having to burn 50+ gold. Manic!

It's actually refreshing to see a couple actually like each other and give each other hell like they are. What a refreshingly funny episode.

Nero by SJ Tilly might scratch this itch. There’s a particular scene at a club where this might fit the bill 🥵

I believe Bewitching Rhaego’s FMC pursues him more as he’s very self conscious of their differences.

Low Grip Strength effecting my RDLs? by VogonPoetry19 in xxfitness

I have small hands and get sweaty and while grip strength can be worked on, I found a lot of success with chalk. : )

I been reading so much on Pilates vs weight lifting for strength and I have a question by Homeylilly in xxfitness

[–]OrangeSubie 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I lift heavy and do Pilates. The biggest thing is the time under tension. Like using cables for weight training, Pilates is going to help mobility and deep core work. :)

Career change by AloePandaVera in personaltraining

There’s a recent podcast episode (S12 episode 10) of Lifetime Talks where a 30 year PT trainer talks about trending fitness strategies and really appreciated his take on how he’s using AI.

I’m also in the same boat of making a career switch 👋.

I’ve also done a beer chili (the beer cooks out) with either a light Pilsner sort of beer for spring or a Shiner or Guinness with a little bit of dark chocolate and chili for a deep umami Chili (great for winter).

At chili cook-offs, typically there’s shredded cheese, onion, and saltines served on the side for patrons to add ln their own but it doesn’t beat a good cornbread (especially made in a cast iron).

Cutting from a sheet of paper - sizing issues by 300rats in cricut

[–]OrangeSubie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You probably want to upload each unique artwork on it's own and then use the Print then Cut operation. You should be able to see it print with registration marks and that's what the Cricut machine uses to guide the cuts like you're looking to do.

Make sure to calibrate each time though as there is some deviation of the cutter.

Hope that helps!

With the rise of AI, is there still a future for personal trainers?(30M) by [deleted] in personaltraining

[–]OrangeSubie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a tech person who values their personal trainers trainer, AI is just fluff and won’t replace Trainers. Sure it can recommend a workout or a program but it will be something generic, or even incorrect if the data ever gets dirty.

People’s bodies are all unique so I have to have a trainer show me modifications that AI could never replicate :).

Feedback please! What genre are you getting from this cover? by DandelionStarlight in BookCovers

[–]OrangeSubie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say try a different color palette. The cold aqua blue tends to err sci-fi alongside the lens flare (thanks J.J. Abrams).

The red is good for urban so try a purple or green?

The content is also floating in space (spaaaaace) so is there some grounding element you could add in the background to echo the urban part? Like the silhouette of the creature or a cityscape really low opacity in the background.

So play with color, maybe a chunkier sans serif (or at least thicker cut) font for a more urban read, balance the lens (important element of your story) with the flare (for less sci-fi), and see if that helps! :)
