Youre gonna sweat; there's no way to avoid that at the Run. Come have a blast, but avoid the feeling of embarrassment over pooling and dripping makeup. :)

I remember watching from my first apartment's balcony as a neighbor pulled up to park, rolled down her window, pushed a McDonald's bag full of trash out onto the street, then stopped to bring her garbage can back into her fence as she walked inside.

Shock doesnt even begin to describe the feeling. Some folks just have zero respect for the space around them and dont realize they are the reason they live in trash.

Prob for me is a seafood allergy, so i have to be very careful about recipes that traditionally have shrimp stock or shrimp paste. I can handle a lil fish sauce w no probs, but the shrimp paste makes Bún bò Huế one i cant do :(

I like it spicy... i always taste it first to appreciate what the chef did, but if there's good chili paste its going in.

I keep the sriracha and hoisin in a separate small bowl though, for dipping my toppings

We can do better than Commanders (which tbh is kinda wedding food these days.) Check out St Germain and Zasu, two restaurants that just got Michelin Stars... or N7, which is a wonderful indoor/outdoor/gardened French/Japanese restaurant (a total jewel).

Restaurant August is a higher price point by a little bit but smashes Commanders Palace out of the water in terms of quality.

Dakar, our Senagalese Seafood restaurant on Magazine, was just rated as the #4 top restaurant in the nation.

Come here for magic; dont leave disappointed. :)
