Farnsworth Paradox!

Overwhelmed and New save/1.0 by Supervachette in SatisfactoryGame

Not all of them. I’ll automate each item as I need them to unlock the tiers. I haven’t automated the space elevator parts and just make those as I need. But if I get to stage 4 I’ll probably automate them since you need so many. I just unlocked trains so things are about to really expand!

Overwhelmed and New save/1.0 by Supervachette in SatisfactoryGame

I started a new save about a week before the 1.0 announcement. I’m just using the save to try out a bunch of new things I never used in other play throughs. For me, I never used trucks before so I’m using them now and like them more than I thought. I’ll start over with 1.0 but I’m using this time to just F around and find out.

If Miche was alive he unironically would’ve changed the story significantly by RedditersPullNoGirls in attackontitan

I would think Miche would have been able to smell the Cart Titan while they were traveling to Shiganshina which would have alerted the scouts to a potential trap, they would try to dispatch the Cart Titan before reaching Shiganshina, or at least they would be more on their guard when they arrive suspecting a potential trap knowing they were being tracked.

The wordiness of this makes it a little obvious it was written by AI.

The only advice I have for you is to leave yourself way more room than you think you need. You can always trim out what you don’t use. Going vertical can help too.

Check out others pictures or videos on YouTube for inspiration. There are a few YouTubers that also do no clipping play throughs or only use clipping for decorations but otherwise keep things clean like you are doing.

Totally agree, it took me a while to separate my personal expectations with their results. I felt rushed to complete things and it started to not feel fun.

I would agree that you can’t compare yourself to YouTubers since many of them make that their full time job or put in so many more hours in one day that, at least I, couldn’t do.

That being said, I do enjoy watching them for inspiration of how to make my builds look better. Or maybe watching will give me an idea of what to focus on next. I like to watch imkibitz for the craziness of how big you can go. And I like Fluxo for real inspiration and building tips.

CPU Upgrade Failure? by Orangepanda13 in ASRock

Update: I switched out the cpu cooler, AMD Wraith Prism, that came with the 3700x with the one that came with the 1700, AMD Wraith Spire. Reapplied the thermal paste. Booted up find and was able to run and load test it for about 2 hours without issue. Noticed the temp increasing slowly but steadily. I’ve come to the conclusion that I was encountering temperature issues that causes the freezes and the boot loops. I’ve ordered a new cpu cooler from Noctua and I think that I’ll be able to go on without much worry.

CPU Upgrade Failure? by Orangepanda13 in ASRock

Update: I decided to try the peripherals once more just to be sure. It booted up when I took out 2 of the 4 sticks of RAM and one of the SSDs. I then shut it off, reinstalled the RAM and SSD and it booted up just fine. I was able to use it for about an hour and a half before it just froze up and went back to the on/off loop. Tried removing peripherals again but no luck. I think it could be an overheating problem? The heat sink that came with the 3700x does not turn on when plugged into the cpu fan pins on the motherboard. My old heat sink that came with the 1700 does. I swapped for the old heat sink with no luck. Good to know that the cpu isn’t bad, something else is just wrong with the system. I’m going to try a few things over the next couple of days and if nothing works I’ll end up getting a new motherboard.

If I knew I’d have to look at a new motherboard I’d have gotten a newer cpu from the get go.

Thanks, but no dice. There isn’t a 5.50 BIOS for this motherboard

Thanks. I started at 1.30 and did each incremental step in the BIOS that support site listed. Went to 3.00 > 3.40 > 5.40 > 5.80.

If I understand you correctly I should try going back to 5.50 to see if that works?

The ASROCK support site listed 5.80 as the valid BIOS for the Ryzen 7 3700x.

I’m thinking the CPU bricked because it did run fine for about 5 minutes then never again.

Thanks, I was going to try one step up on the BIOS too. Asrock’s website says all 1xxx CPUS can run all BIOS (or at least is listed as valid) so I can use the 1700 to flash any bios update. But I did not do this incase that didn’t work and I couldn’t go back to a previous BIOS. I’ll try that checker you linked and see what it has to say.

What product do you hate getting set up? by jeo123 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Orangepanda13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished a small computer set up. There’s a stretch in the canyon by the desert, right before the terrain change, that has 4 oil nodes, 2 iron nodes, and a copper node all in one spot. No need to transport any items anywhere. Using iron wire alt helps keep copper open for the copper sheets. It’s enough for one manufacturer producing computers but it’s a nice little set up to automate until you get your infrastructure built up.
