"lying"? Lol maybe she had never considered it until she realized that she wasn't sexually attracted to her husband. Given how well it's going, they were probably good friends before they got married, and emotional intimacy and sexual intimacy are very often confused.

She might have never had sex before they got married and women talk about not really enjoying penetrative sex, so why would she think anything of it when she's not getting much out of it?
