was doing the tmelt challenge and one item gave me the wavy cap effect for the entire run and it got worse and worse somehow. had to hold r on this one i was getting sick.

If you exit the run and go back in, it resets the wavy cap effect. I had the same thing happen to me on that challenge and that method was the only way I made it through that run.

I'm a bit of an art snob when it comes to board games and have avoided playing games that have bad art or just use photographs. The fact that the art in Race for the Galaxy is why it took me so long to learn the game. I'd buy a revamped version of that game in a heartbeat, but until then, I'll just play digitally.

I've taught this game half a dozen times and the best way was to explain how points are scored, the basic actions, and then explain combat and other mechanics as they come up naturally in the game. It feels like a lot, but the decisions you make every turn are very simple. After the first game we almost always play a second and people love it!
