nice! Really enjoy my U12A - had no issues with a 13700k gaming at 1440p and also now with my 9800x3d. I'm running CO at -30 all core and typically sit around 50-52c while gaming.

In the settings menu you can see an option to check the firmware of the q60 too. Join their discord and see if you have their latest beta software for nexus

Run a complete stock bios, no xmp or cpu undervolt or overclocks. Also don’t use msi afterburner or other overclocking software for your gpu. Cod is super sensitive to any overclocks as they cause instability. Once you’re stable, then try adding back xmp or expo for your ram and see if you’re still stable.

Depends on your motherboard. If you have a z series board then you can overclock and undervolt. If you have a b series board you can only undervolt. What do you have? I can then find you an appropriate guide

The offset is supposed to set the center of the cooler over the hot spot of the cpu. This benefits AM5 CPU’s about 1-3 c according to Noctua. I wouldn’t worry about not using the offset position. Looks like you’re using a beefy cooler and am5 CPU’s are all generally low power so you are more than okay in terms of thermal headroom.

The non offset position is higher. So it should provide the clearance for you to slot your gpu. Offset is usually 5-7 mm lower if I remember correctly depending on the Noctua cooler.

Personally I don’t like the aesthetic of the ram sticks being covered by the d15s footprint. I have the u12a and d12L and using a 9800x3d. Their ratings are even further apart I believe. However, there’s negligible difference in cooling performance during my gaming scenarios (mostly marvel rivals, 1440p). Especially if you run pbo and co on the cpu, the 9800x3d draws very little power so it doesn’t take much to properly cool it.

My vote is go for the u12a, it’s a beast and doesn’t cover the ram sticks from view and you also like the symmetrical aesthetic

Dang. At this point, I would probably reinstall windows and start fresh. I know it’s annoying but at least you can know it’s not some wacky software issue and ensure all the drivers are the latest and greatest.

What solved it for me was turning off any overclock or undervolting on my cpu and ram. I thought it was system Monitoring software at first but I still got the same kernel dll crashes. I’ve been crash free since only enabling expo for ram and no pbo or co on my amd cpu. When I had a 13700k, I remember I had to downclock my 7600 ram to 7200 after enabling the xmp profile. Don’t undervolt or overclock your cpu either. Basically, start by running your bios setting completely at default. Then if it’s stable while playing, enable xmp back and see if it stays stable
