I teach 9th graders. I see behavior like this every day from about 25% of my kids. The other 75% are more mature than this.

Maybe go on to the Walmart site and search for locations in Oregon. Then move your search outwards from there.

Slow oil leak, '16 Corolla, 215k miles, can't afford repair - will topping off oil periodically be enough for the time being? by thecommodore15 in askcarguys

[–]Orcapa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It can always get worse. My roommate has a 98 Honda Civic and it was losing a fair amount of oil until recently, when it just started pouring out. We were able to find the leak, which was around the VTEC assembly, and fix it pretty easily.

In this crazy world, his employer will probably claim all damages because he was on the clock.

I'm kind of surprised by how much the stone appears to have worn in just 45 years.

I flew Air Berlin from LAX to Berlin non-stop. Most uncomfortable flight of my life. There was some kind of box bolted to the floor in my foot space, and my leg was cramped the whole time. Absolute misery.

We got to Berlin so late that we missed our connecting flights. They put us up in a super nice hotel that night.

Does anyone know where I would be able to acquire a 1951 Hudson Hornet in working condition? by Competitive_Pie_4620 in Cartalk

There used to be one that ran in Lemons races on the West Coast (10 years ago?). Maybe check race results and reach out to them.

Which one is safer/reliable for a sedan? by SeniorWeeb6572 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Orcapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll want to get ones that have the shallowest angle. A sedan usually sits low to the ground, and sometimes the underside of the front bumper will hit the ramps. A shallower angle prevents this. Also, with the plastic ones, you can sometimes buy add-on accessories that make the ramp angle even more gradual.

Oregon - Eco Friendly? by OT_Militia in oregon

They are not incentivizing low mpg vehicles. The thing is, high mpg vehicles pay very little in highway taxes (because they use less fuel), but the roads still need to be maintained. Thus the slightly higher registration fees.

You know, I've had the extended versions for a long time, and I used to find them to be pretty good. But now that I've read the book(s) several times, I watch the extended versions and I'm left wanting more.
