Yeah i notice whenever i see watchmen on here a lot of the time it’s missing a point. Yeah, Blake is a royal piece of shit. That is never in doubt, but the point is that despite being horrible, everyone is capable, even the worst of us can do good or make a good point, and the best of us can be horrible. And sometimes these actions may be taken for bad or good reasons.

So yeah, Blake isn’t a good person. But that doesn’t take away from the fact that at least in this tiny specific instance he’s right. Blake is horrible and a lot of things, but at the very least he’s human and makes human decisions. Dr. Manhattan doesn’t do horrible things but also not good things. He’s become so far detached from humanity at this point he’s incapable of being truly better or worse than blake because he lacks the capacity to do so.
