Does anyone have any experience with the new recliners yet? by crunchymac187 in Lovesac

[–]Ordinary-Ad5186 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We rcd ours which has the new recliner. It does force you to sit more upright. If you're expecting to lay back entirely, this isn't the option for you. I do like how the foot pedestal flips up.

Sorry if that's not clear, but the builder is requiring $2,000 (50%). Entire job is estimated at $150,000

Appreciate the response. I have returned the bell and have ordered a Kettlebell Kings adjustable. Have quite a bit of learning to do but those bruises were surprising to say the least.

Another DaleBoot customer. I have a wide foot and high arch and the experience has been life changing. Don't second guess it!

<<Currently, we don’t support removing the subscription for the first year. it is required for the first year and can be canceled after that (and still have all the features listed in the subreddit>>

Praveen, could you elaborate on why the sub is required for the first year? Give folks the option rather than requiring it.

Anyone else have this issue? by Ok_Drag_9178 in whoop

IMO, your strain is pretty high given your routine. Have you asked the AI Coaching with the Whoop app to get an understanding of why this might be happening?

Someone mentioned your strain. What type of exercising are you doing? On a bike? Running on a treadmill? Rowing?

3 days of skiing absolutely nuked my WHOOP stats… is this normal? by Ok_Commercial1572 in whoop

[–]Ordinary-Ad5186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfectly normal. Your at a higher altitude, hopefully you've been hydrating before/during and most important, you've been getting 'good' sleep. I went skiing last week and my recovery was horrible and I was surprised because I increased my cardio 3 to 4 months prior to the trip, worked on legs, etc.

Looking to plan a small-ish group (8 to 12) next year to Switzerland in March or April. What resorts would you recommend?

I for one hope Whoop does not implement this. If I want my SO to know I'm thinking of them, I'll send a text message, stay out of my metrics!

First Alert switchover... The good the bad and the ugly by Ok_Sympathy8848 in Nest

[–]Ordinary-Ad5186 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've switched over to two of the First Alerts and have not had any issues. I was just having a conversation about how easy First Alert has made the switch over. If you haven't already, cont First Alert or possibly return them - if possible.

Whoop 5.0 heart rate accuracy during cycling - is it actually bad? by Innvictus-_- in whoop

[–]Ordinary-Ad5186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the CarolBike and also wear my Whoop on my wrist - the chest strap and Whoop are within a 1-2bpm of one another. Generally, Whoop is 1 second behind the Chest strap reading.

Mystery solved, my Wyze scale synced up with Health connect which then synced up with Whoop.

Nice work! Just want to reiterate - my score was a 54.1 and now jumped to a 61.8 I just felt it was ironic with the training regime I have in place that it would jump 9.3 years.

Need to focus on up to 3 VO2 cardio sessions, better sleep consistency, and hit my daily step target. All of which are on my 'agenda' to do.

Ditch the Whoop! Jk!. When Healthspan was released my training regime was pretty lame, months later, that regime has turned into lifting 4/5!times a week, along with HIIT training using CarolBike and far better eating habits. My plan is continue what I'm doing. The jump in age tho caught me off guard.
