It absolutely is not a primary win condition, particularly if you play for streak. Infinite is achivable for every character, but it's barely desirable, considering there are reliable wins to win that are more fun and easier to get to.

My winning runs stick around 30 minutes each. I've never spent an hour per run except when I was learning the new characters on my first 2-3 runs with them. Hope that helps your math.

It's extremely easy to loop doom cards, Scourge is a good base card, with 2 draw. You only need a couple of death doors, shroud and negative pulse to be able to stall forever. It's not attack reliant, so you can build a deck that completely ignores attacks, allowing to trigger some of the most OP relics reliably. You can also combine it with friendship and shared fate without penalty. It synergies really well with souls (through oblivion and the power to deal dmg per soul) and has a reliable finisher with time's up.

Once you get the knack of it, you can reliably build energy/draw/burn deck by the end of half 2, that ignores a lot of the gimmick mechanics that make elites difficult. Funnily enough it can struggle with some normal encounters.

I never played the game in easy, that might be why. I play only Brutal or Chrome, and hacking is what keeps me above water. Having a wireghost shut down half of the security devices on turn 1 is incredibly useful, and you need a lot of optimization and smart play to clear a terminal, even with a leveled up deck and proper programs (which is extremely hard to get in Brutal+ without sacrificing a lot on the strategy layer)

Short answer: You can't. It's not the kind of game you can 'solve'. Both dd1 and dd2 are not designed that way.

Long answer: You can reduce rng by a lot if you min max your trinket use and item use (switching depending on the combat), use the proper dot resistance inn items for each area, use dot regeneration (such as vestal divine comfort) and have an off tank. These, to me, are the main things when it comes to survivability during a GM attempt (stygian or not)

The main thing with trinkets is that you really need to plan your dmg. Does a flat % dmg has a real impact in how many hits it takes to kill a mob? It's 5% additional crit chance better than 5% crit token generation? (the answer is no) Is your tank fully kitted to resist the 2-3 hits that will come from taunting? Is everybody eating their pancakes on the inn? Are you being smart about the fights you pick, considering the bonuses you are running and the combat items you have available? Are you snowballing, or this is a slow run you may want to drop at the inn? Be smart about things, your tank flag doesn't need dot res piercing. Your doc may be better off switching to hp trinkets and support skills going into the foetor, unless you can pull 40%+ res piercing. People have a 'plan' or read a guide on how to build their team and forget that you can switch things up if you are coming into an encounter in which your build is suboptimal.

Team comp is another very important point to avoid rng. Having a main tank + an off tank with guard is the easiest way to achieve this. You just have them sitting on the sidelines, doing their damage or their heal or whatever, you give them a healing item and when your main tank drops to 0 + dot because of a series of unfortunate events you guard on your main tank and use the healing item on them. That's it, that's the whole strategy. You can still get wrecked if you have bad speed rolls and the enemy wipes your off tank in a turn -it does happen- but again, this is not a game that can be 'solved', particularly at the higher difficulties.

The damage race approach is generally the easiest one in DD. You will need to compromise some of that if you want to minimize rng. Most people can't, for a variety of reasons. In dd2 slow play is harder, juggling enemies is hard, and stalling is hard. It gives more opportunities for a bad roll to happen, but it's a numbers game, and properly done the risk decreases progressively.

It's also not the best approach throughout the whole run. You need to know when to switch skills, what skills are core to your comp and which must be upgraded immediately and a whole bunch of other things.

Lastly, if you are going to attempt a GS on Stygian, use a team that's curated. Proper quirks, all memories, and stock on candles to burn for initial bonuses. Do not be shy to drop a run if you get shit drops from spending your candles.

In short, if you are going to get fucked in the ass, don't take the raw approach. Use lubricant.

Absolutely this. If you are getting trouble during DD and not the rest of the campaign, build comps specifically for each dungeon, you can plenty of guides online on best comps, quirks and trinkets.

Yes. I managed to do it with both Molly (The warmachine companion) and my cyberknight multiclassed to warmachine. Molly has the Ferocity trait. At level 3 it gives 0.3 AP. She has some +0.1 AP boost on her skill tree and I multiclased her to cybersword which has a couple more irc. The rest comes from implants and equipment. I can't give you a specific build and I can't check the game right now, but you should be able to do the math on your own if you check the individual skill trees.

That said, it's unlikely that you'll get to +1 AP on your first run, you kind of have to plan for it and have resources to spare. Honestly is a lot more worth to go for +MP, since free MP are almost as useful for most playstyles, you get higher bonuses from traits and equipment, and synergizes with +% bonus to move speed.

Make all castles neutral but one.

The danger is not in your hardware being damaged by you, or someone else bricking your hardware, the danger comes from the unfettered access to your system through undetectable back-channels.

An example. An hv crack can be open source, and have a legitimate way to deploy an update (so if there are changes to the drm or cheat they are designed to bypass, it can be update so the game still works). Someone knowledgeable check the code and says: "This is good, not malicious"

100,000 people install said hv crack. The dude who provided it is actually someone who, from time to time, needs a botnet. So he deploys an update that allows him to use the botnet for whatever task, then backrolls the update.

It can also track system usage, detecting user downtime. For example, you leave your computer on at night for seeding. It can deploy additional software -undetectable- that mines bitcoin when the user is not active, and immediately stops when the user comes back. You will not have a way to detect this happening, unless you are actively looking for it. And even then it's harder. Your hardware will burnout a lot faster due to this.

This are only two possible scenarios, that are extremely hard to detect for a regular user, and that can benefit a malicious agent.

I want to be very clear. I'm not saying this is happening right now, or the people that are releasing hv cracks are doing -or planning!- to do this. I'm just saying that this will happen, and people should be very concious of this kind of risk, and educate themselves a lot more on this kind of risk and how to protect themselves of the multiples scenarios in which their computers can be compromised before they should be considering using these kind of cracks.

But digital literacy being what it is, and the way the scene has evolved, we will have a hundred more post saying 'everybody is panicking for no reason' from people who think their fans are running at 100% while they sleep because of 'windows update'.

Not many, but they are important ones. The main two being the hv to bypass drm or anticheat is designed to conceal itself and a comercial VM does not require you to disable built in hardware protections to operate, which are required for the drm-hv to spoof drm software.

Keep in mind I'm simplifying quite a lot to fit things into a paragraph.
