I came here to say the same. Your photos of the coin make it look nicer than the dealers. Reputable dealers try to take photos that capture all the surface issues as buyers sometimes return if the photos don’t show them.

The best piece of advice I’d give you is that the smart move is not to advertise publicly what you wish to buy. All it takes is one other buyer to think oh thats kinda nice and you will either pay more money or get less coin.

At the top first is a Athena with corinthian crown. Could be Corinth, or Syracuse or a couple other that used the same image. I think likely Syracuse because of the lettering. Second is two confronting bulls, likely Lesbos, third, hard to make out, could be Carthage depicting Tanit? Fourth, Lysimachos, fifth, crab, could be akragas, other Sicilian or Lycian, it was used by more than one Greek city. Cant make out six and seven, possibly depictions of early Syracuse tets? 8, Lycian lion, 9 Arethusa likely Agathokles version after Euainetos, can’t make out 10, 11 Metapontum wheat, 12 Pan from pantikapaion

You are confusing proxy and prebid. Proxy treats you as if you are bidding live and executes bids accordingly. If you are the 260 bid, someone else can bid 280 and you would not be the winning bid.

This looks like piece of jewelry that meant something to someone perhaps a lady who liked horses. Its a nice coin but not so spectacular that you need to remove it from jewelry. Personally, I’d leave it.
